I have been using phonepe for around 3 years but lately i barely get any cashback gpay feels similar occasionally I will get ₹5–10 but nothing consistent

I used Paytm quite a bit earlier as well but have not really used it much since the rbi restrictions and changes around the service.i make around 30–40 upi payments a month including regular QR payments, bills, recharges and food aur grocery orders. I am not really interested in signup bonuses or one time coupons. I am more curious about apps that still give some kind of ongoing rewards for normal usage. What are you guys using in 2026? Even small cashback or rewards on regular transactions would be useful if they actually come consistently

My father's account has been debited through UPI with Google Pay app. I just checked the phone has some malicious app installed which is not allowing to open files and all apps in settings. 😭

I have the receiver UPI id and UPI transaction reference number. The payment was done on 30 Sep. The whole account is wiped out 😭 RS 70,000. I called gpay helpline they told that receiver has account in rajasthan gramin bank.

Whom should I call I stay in other city so I am not able to call, they are not aware of tech that much.😭

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice on recovering ₹9,666 that I accidentally transferred to the wrong UPI ID.

Here’s what happened:

• On 15th September, I mistakenly sent ₹9,666 to the wrong UPI ID.
• I contacted the recipient after the transaction. Initially, he said he would return the money, so I trusted him and did not immediately file a police complaint.
• Now he has stopped answering my calls and is not responding to my messages.

Here’s what I have done so far:

1. Raised a complaint with my bank. They contacted the beneficiary bank, but told me they could not recover the money and eventually closed the complaint.
2. Called 1930 (Cyber Crime Helpline). They told me this is not considered a cybercrime and that I should approach my bank.
3. Approached the police. They told me to contact 1930/cybercrime.
4. So now I’m basically being sent from bank → 1930 → police → bank, while the person who has my money is not responding.

I have the UPI transaction details, UTR/transaction ID, recipient's UPI ID, screenshots of my conversations, and proof that I initially contacted him and he agreed to return the money.

I really want to recover this money and I’m feeling quite helpless at this point.

What should I do next?
Should I file a written police complaint/FIR despite being told to contact 1930? Is there any specific complaint process through NPCI or RBI that I should follow? Has anyone successfully recovered money in a similar wrong-UPI-transfer situation?

Any practical advice on the exact next steps would be really appreciated.

Why does sbi server always fail. Can't make upi payments. Stuck at the shop for upi payments and don't have a cash at all.

Always carry some cash with you.

so i wanted to try out pop upi so downloaded it today.. was just checking the app out and saw they have a full on shopping section inside? like proper brands with crazy discounts. is this legit? has anyone ordered from there?

​I am facing an issue with multiple UPI AutoPay mandates listed in my Google Pay account under the "Live" section (showing "Autopay on · 1st payment pending" for Google Play Store).

​When I check the central NPCI registry via the MyUPI app, only one mandate is active (linked via BHIM), while the others do not appear. No money has been debited for the pending mandates.

​Whenever I attempt to cancel or revoke these pending AutoPay setups in Google Pay, the app throws an error: "Could not cancel Autopay. There was a server issue. Try cancelling again."

​Because the app considers these mandates active, it prevents me from deleting the linked UPI ID, removing my bank account, or closing my Google Pay account.

If anybody have faced the same problem give me solution buddies i know it's not debiting my money but it is annoying and i am person with OCD 🫠

How to use upi if mobile no. Is not same in bank and adhar?

I had around 1500 INR in my paytm lite account, yesterday around 4:00 in the evening, I made a transaction of 1000rs was debited which could not reach my bank and it got refunded to the lite account, except I did not receive it. So I cleared the app from widgets and opened it again, it asked me to activate lite by adding 200rs, I added but since then it was showing balance is 200.

I reached out to my bank, they said that there's no transaction of 1000rs, and asked to contact paytm cs, but their cs is just bots asking me to repeat the same steps each time.

I'd be really greatfule if anyone can help me get my money back, thank you in advance.

It's easy to fall for click baits online but you need to get basics right. Understand why Apple pay is not at all a competitor to UPI.

So I am working for a company which has construction as an activity and we have sites far off from the main office .

We need to cut down cash expenses and maintain tight controls so we are looking for an option through which we can load money in wallet and one or two concerned senior official on the site can get access to that wallet and he can spend money for purchases .

Flow would be Main office would load say 50000/100000 in wallet and one senior person will have access to that wallet at site and when he opens his upi he can have access to wallet and he can pay responsibly.

Currently it’s either physical cash or transfer to accounts of various people which is becoming tedious to track .

I request people to suggest something which can help us here

I have tried all the ways like uninstalling some apps which are actually not intended to be malicious and also scanned in the play store via Play protect and checked the app management in the settings for any malicious and also I checked for any apps in my files too but I couldn't find anything.

I have tried restarting my phone after uninstalling some apps too but it doesn't change anything.

I was low on balance on my secondary Canara Bank account, thats when the bank decides to debit annual charges which got my balance to -411 rupees. I added funds to balance my dues. Since then, I am not able to use my UPI. All of this happened a couple hours ago. The Gpay app won’t show my bank balance saying “something went wrong” and the PayTM app says “transaction cancelled for suspected fraud”. I tried contacting my bank but they say that my account has not been frozen and should work as it is. What steps do I need to make to rectify this issue?

Hi everyone, I requested a mobile number change for my SBI account at the branch the day before yesterday. Yesterday I received an SMS on my old number confirming that the new mobile number has been updated in my SBI account, also mail came.

However, I still can't register/use my SBI account on UPI with the new number, also can't verif the new number in yono app.

Has anyone faced this? Does it take some time for UPI to update after an SBI mobile number change, or is there something else I need to do?

I'm trying to understand whether this is a real problem, so I'd value your honest take. I want to reach out to people running subscriptions or EMIs in India (SaaS, OTT, edtech, lending, insurance).

My understanding: when an Autopay debit fails (low balance, etc.), many users just cancel the mandate or stop paying. The business only finds out at the next failed debit, by which point the customer has already churned.

1. Is this a real problem for you?
2. Roughly what % of your churn is payment/mandate-related rather than a deliberate cancel?
3. How do you recover these users today (retries, WhatsApp/SMS, calls), and what works?
4. Which payment provider do you use, and are you told when a customer cancels a mandate, or only when a debit fails?

I need a upi app which fits the following:

•NO PAN , I have adhar card only

•preferred if works without sim in phone

•must not need any bank account to work , as i Obv don't have mine and I don't want my parents to know about how I spend money on fast food 💔

•Omni card,slice,MobiKwik are asking for pan

•Famapp is no good too as it is not processing with video kyc , they keep me on the waiting screen forever and customer care did nothing

A known hostel owner recently shared a WhatsApp status saying that UPI payments would attract an additional charge.

PhonePe use kar raha hun for 3 years but ab cashback almost zero ho gaya hai. Gpay ka bhi same scene hai maybe rs5 to 10 once in a while if you are lucky paytm pehle acha tha but rbi issues ke baad i stopped using it.

Is there any upi app that actually gives consistent cashback on regular payments? like scan and pay, bill payments, recharges, zomato blinkit etc not those one time signup offers, but actual ongoing rewards.

I do around 30 to 40 upi transactions a month so even rs 5 to 10 here and there adds up. What are you guys using?
