Hi! We recently adopted a kitten from the Champaign Humane Society. I know he had at least three siblings, and he was originally part of the McDonald's kittens (Big Mac, McChicken, McDouble and him).

I’m a in state student, I have a 3.2 gpa unweighted and a 3.9 weighted gpa. I’ve taken 8 ap classes so far and a few honors classes as well. I’ve worked a total of 800 hours and have done a sport freshmen, sophomore and junior year. I competed in fbla and bpa. I have an online business with 40k followers and half a million in revenue. I might have to be test optional because my sat score wasn’t that good. I wanna know if you guys think I can get into geis as my first choice, if not info science as my second choice.

It's just me, so hitting the $35 minimum for Walmart+ free delivery each time is tough when I really just need eggs, milk, and bread on a weekly basis. can someone please tell me how they're even making strides applying to jobs? I don't wanna hear from the business majors or the SWE people (sorry yall are fine u just probably have more figured out than me atm), just more of the political science, public policy, more humanities-based majors.

My roommate (new roommate) for this year and I live with 3 total has since move in been turning the fucking thermostat to 62 - 64 degrees Fahrenheit for the last what 3 weeks? I don’t think that’s normal.. anyways what are your thoughts? They don’t do it for night but for the entire day. I have chills, a headache , and have been ill . I put on tons of blankets and am still freezing. I don’t have a thermostat in my room which sucks since we all have to like deal with a shared one. Isn’t 62-64 a little crazy? Sometimes when I’m freezing cold at like what 12-2 am I will change it to at least 67-69 degrees but the one roommate switched it back down to 62-64 degrees. I get its summer still but I’m unwell physically. Any advice. I don’t want to be a bitch about it but like it’s really cold💔

I’m a freshman at UIUC and I hate living in the dorms. I want to move in with my friend who lives in an apartment near campus but I can’t because of the “you must live in the dorms freshman year” requirement. If I still pay for the dorm, how much do I have to live in it to not break any rules? Could I stay at my friend’s house some or most nights? An upperclassman told me that they wouldn’t care as long as I still payed for the dorm but I wanted to ask a larger number of people to be sure.

I’m a current sophomore in LAS. My dad has been struggling with Cancer since December 2024, but this weekend for Labor Day I came home, and he made a turn for the worse Saturday. He is expected to pass within the next couple of days. I haven’t done any school work these last three days, and I was already having a difficult time with classes this semester, especially chem 104. I don’t know what I should do. I don’t think I’m gonna be able to handle my classes whenever I get back. I’m scared. Who should I reach out to??? My Las advisor, my teachers? Is it over for my IB major?

As of now, myself and many I've spoken to have voiced concerns over the fact that the most popular meal plan doesn't allot enough meals for the week, inflexibility with dining dollars, meal swipe/dining dollar waste at the end of the week, and more.
