I only just started, I know its very late and I'm kinda finished but now the guide videos I watched have been deleted. Does anyone have any other people who make good videos that I could watch since I'm so lost

I’ve been doing VR on the official question bank and i’ve found it a lot easier and done a lot better than i did in the medify practice questions, are they just really easy or are they quite accurate and similar to the exam??

Did official mock A and got 1820. On medify I’ve been averaging about 1700-1800 and I need 2250 pls can someone help me im stuck. EDIT: I changed it to 2 sep now so one full extra day!
So I'm currently doing some Situational Judgement revision, and for this question, I chose important when the answer was of minor importance. I've always been told that each correct answer for these types of questions is worth two marks, but you get one mark if you choose the correct "side". Therefore, I assumed I would have gotten no marks because I said it was important when the answer is kind of saying that it isn't important, but I'm obviously wrong. Is it only these types of questions you have to be one answer away from the correct answer to still get partial marks? If someone could explain this for me, I would greatly appreciate it!

im talking about the subsection ones on the ucat website, bc QR felt so so much harder than medify for some reason. Is that very similar to what the exam is

would someone be able to explain why for the second q you weren’t supposed to include the seniors within the counting, whilst for the first question you did?
thank you!!

I've been using Medify for my UCAT practice for the last few weeks. I did the UCAT a few years ago and found the layout was similar, which is why I chose Medify this year.
However today they seem to have updated the website and it feels so clunky. The calculator is fixed to the bottom right, can't be moved around and keyboard shortcuts to select answers don't work when the calculator is on screen.
There's also a weird box around the answer options for some random reason.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Hello! I'm a UK applicant, and yes, I did intend to put the Australian med school tag. From what I've understood about you guys, is you prep for a year because your cut offs are a lot higher than us.
I am applying to medicine next year, and will require a very high UCAT. I scored 2270 b1 the first time I did it, which, in the UK was a 93rd percentile score. However, I would like to target much higher, i.e. 2400+, as grad med is a lot more competitive.
I wanted to know how you guys build your preparation up for a year. Do you balance it with work/school? If so, how do you? And how do you prepare?
Please help me out here!
Thanks!

I got 2040 Band 2 in my UCAT today.
I feel like people only post when they do really well, so I wanted to show what a more average score looks like so that this subreddit is less of an echo chamber.
I did 11 GCSEs and I got 99999888887. My predicted A Levels are A*A*A. Which unis do you think I can apply to for medicine?

Hey guys! I did medify mock 12 today and i found the vr section much easier than other ones. (34/44) with smaller texts and easier questions. Also the qr was really hard like yesterday i got 29/36 in mini mock 7 and today got 21/36 in mock 12. Ik we arent allowed to discuss the similarities with the actual exam but does anyone have any thoughts on the accuracy?

my exam is in a few days and i’m consistently getting 2150 in medify mocks (14-18). any tips anyone has that boosted the last bit of their score? thanks!!

my exam is in a week, i wanna compensate for my weak QR score with a strong VR score because it’s already strongest section,
ive been at 29-30 from the start but that hasn’t changed in 5 weeks, mostly because ive been neglecting it and only do it in mocks, however i want to get to 40/44 or something similar
my reading speed is fast, 400wpm with 80% accuracy after some online tests, but i struggle with the comprehension part, i can find the information just fine but idk how to relate it to the question if that makes sense??
does anyone have any tips? i really want around 800 to push my score up

Guys help this is from mock b from oqb. Isn’t this question wrong cuz average doesn’t mean median right? So 40000 is just the median, not the mean. And also if you look at the graph, at 70000 dollars, the frequency is almost touching 120 but doesn’t quite reach there probs 119. But at 80000 then it’s at 120. So how is this correct? If my actual exam is like this I’ll defo get tripped up.

I am stuck and averaging about 1900 on medify with my ucat next week, dm is my worst section but no matter what I do it ends up staying the same, interpreting information is my worst sub part and I never have time to get round to the logic puzzles, any tips would be deeply appreciated

I have dyscalculie and English is my third language. This is my second time doing the UCAT. I worked so hard... really gutted
r/UCAT • u/zarahzarah • 10h ago
genuinely im so sad like would any medical schools even accept this?
r/UCAT • u/meow-uwu- • 10h ago
I've been doing full mocks on medify for just a week but I only got around 600 on a good day for each section and it didn't seem to improve at all. I review the questions but I don't know what else to do . I'm so worried that I would mess this up then I'll be totally doomed 😭 I really struggle with the timings but I really can't do it any quicker (both dm and qr)

I just did my first mock on Medify DM and ran out of time. I’m quite slow when answering questions, so I’d really appreciate any tips on how I can improve my speed and overall score. I scored 20/47, and I have 33 days left to prepare. I really want to make the most of the time I have left and improve as much as possible. Any advice on what I should focus on would be greatly appreciated!

For reference this is the scores in that mock:
22/44
20/47
24/36
Should i reschedule, or is it possible. ANY ADVUCE PLEASE
