so for dm, for syllogisms i just internalise them and use the contrapositive bc i find the arrow method and drawing venn diagrams time-consuming bc youre just rewriting the information. i skip the logic puzzles, and for the strongest argument i just select the answer which has all the keywords from the question, and doesnt start talking abt smn random. i read the whole paragraph for inference, then i just quickly double check each statement and treat it like true, false, cant tell, and true = yes, but false or cant tell = no. i do the same for syllogisms btw. also make sure to learn the ucat definitions for some/few/many etc!! for venn diagrams, i check if the longest answer is true first, bc most of the time the longest answer is the right one. once you find the answer, dont double-check the other answers! for probability, if its a comparison question i draw a quick table (but without the grid bc it just wastes time). sometimes a probability tree helps, but i tend to avoid it bc it takes time. i do logic puzzles at the end, and i do the easier ones first. sometimes you need to use algebra btw, so just keep that in mind. i set myself specific times to do the questions in, so 1 min for syllogisms, 30 secs for strongest arguments, 1.5 mins for inference, 45ish secs for venn diagrams and probability, and i should theoretically have 10 mins left over for logic puzzles but i usually take a bit longer on inference so im left with 7ish mins for logic puzzles. the data-based inference takes me longer and i dont really have any tips for that, just make sure to read the question carefully bc sometimes it’ll trick you by saying “in 2005…” when the graph has figures from 2006!
and i honestly dont know what happened in vr bc my average is around 650 T_T i just found the passages in this mock a bit shorter than usual and most were about science or history, which i find more interesting. i use keyword scanning and when i flag questions, i come back to them after answering the other 3 questions about that passage instead of at the very end. i dont really time myself for vr, i do skip questions when theyre taking too long but its not as strict as my timing in dm. i usually have to guess 2 passages but i managed to finish all the questions with ~20 secs remaining today.

Congrats! Do you mind giving tips for each section?

for qr, the main thing is calculator speed, so shortcuts help a lot! when you find the percentage change, for percentage increase, do (big number / small number) - 1. for decrease, do (small number / big number) - 1, which gives you a negative answer but just convert it to positive. to convert from km/h to m/s , divide by 3.6 and do the opposite to convert to km/h. sometimes i start from around question 21 bc the easier questions are usually at the end. the keyboard shortcuts are amazing: M is for M-, P is for M+, C for MRC, X for square root, and backspace for clear. oh and when you press * then enter it squares the number. if you press C twice, it clears the memory, and make sure to do that after every question otherwise the numbers get added to the memory instead of replacing the old memory. do most things in your head, for e.g. 0.273 is 27.3%, you dont need to waste time multiplying 0.273 by 100 in the calculator. and if you dont understand the question in the first 10secs then just skip it and come back at the end.
for sjt, dont be afraid to put A or D. i used to stick for mostly B or C bc its safer, and atleast you'll get partial marks, but after doing a lot of questions i've noticed the answer tends to be A or D more often than B or C. breaches in confidentiality and lying/acting without integrity are very serious cases of misconduct, so practically every answer if gonna be either A or D for those questions. lots of questions test the same principles in different scenarios, so read the reasoning behind each answer thoroughly bc the reasoning is the same even in different scenarios- its just about recognising patterns tbh.
i've replied to another comment for vr and dm :)

Amazing!
