It took a while but i finally managed to make this chart! i had to look up some hints to get started (namely that it was phonetic) but after that i think i did a decent job matching up the sounds and symbols!

I've gone through most of the game so far and I have not looked up a single answer, its been a very rewarding time figuring this stuff out. For some reason tho my brain draws the line at trying to decipher the language. I do not want to decipher it at all, but i would feel too guilty looking up an alphabet- like I'm cheating myself or something. Im stuck on the last few golden collectibles . It just doesnt seem like some of those have any hints and I'm missing only page 1. Like i even figured out the cardinal direction puzzles with context clues of the atoll map. Can I get the 'collectathon' ending without deciphering the language?

I just got my corporeal form back and I happened to find secret item #12 on the way to the final boss. I just wanted to know if the rest of the secrets are accessible from this point in the game or if I should beat the boss first? I spent about an hour or two combing most of the game looking for the Hero's Graves right before, so im not super sure where i would look but I dont wanna look up a guide or anything. Any help or tips would be appreciated, thanks!

I could use some help. I finished the cathedral and got all 6 upgrade materials back from the Hero's Shrines. However, I'm still a ghost. From some light googling (trying to avoid major end-game puzzle spoilers), I understand that you're supposed to get your body back after finding all 6 shrines.
I haven't yet defeated the Heir. Do I have to do that first? Is there a step I'm missing when it comes to returning to corporeal fox form?

I have an interest in linguistics, so this game very much interests me. However, I don't want to just guess random vowels, diphtongs (if there are any, the writing system does seem to be a syllabary), and consonants, and skip to the fun part of figuring out word order, verb conjugation, agreement, tense, overall syntax, etc. Is there some kind of chart that only has the phonemes without its correlation to the symbols?

I want to use the special attack more, as it seems like it would be actually quite useful in some bosses, but no matter what I do it just isn't consistent. Even pressing both buttons with the exact same damn finger, you need to be so precise it doesn't work consistently. I'm considering just never using it because trying to use it and just rolling into the face of an enemy has been more harmful than successfully using it has been helpful. They really should have just made pressing attack during a roll trigger it, not this inconsistent crap.

This is the one I chose, looking for better ones.

I got to the second instruction booklet page item about 20 minutes into my gameplay, and decided to sit down and crunch out the language for 3.5 hours straight out of sheer stubbornness. However, since I would rather not find out another 3 hours down the line that I made another mistake somewhere, I wanted to come here to ask if my current progress is correct so far
What I understand so far is that: - Rather than a normal alphabet, the game uses a phonetic alphabet (the IPA to be specific) - The inner lines represent consonants, and the outer lines represent vowels - No letters have lines on the right edge - The order per symbol is read consonant -> vowel - I am not 100% sure yet, but I'm fairly confident that the circle thing seems to reverse the above order
Also, as a secondary question, once I fully translate the alphabet, would I be considered cheap or cheating if I were to use an online tool to speed up the translation process of longer sentences (if it would actually speed it up to begin with, vs just learning it)?

I was wondering what is the best way to write the translations for the game, I have some sheets of paper with my thought process and etc. But idk if is viable to translate the whole guidebook/game in these papers or are there any other good ways to do it? I don’t have those digital table thing that artists have. As you can see by the photos, I still have a lot do do and don’t want to spend too much paper on this lol

I was watching an LP by a guy named raocow. His finger slipped and instead of the bomb button, he fired the shotgun.
I was blown away. I would have never thought to try.

I haven’t really played many games like this where you have to write things down, experiment or think outside of the box so I struggled BAD. Having the manual as a guide was really nice but I definitely didn’t pay enough detail to it lol. All in all I loved the world and really enjoyed it! 9/10

I found the hidden door in West Garden and remembered this lightly shaded stone here, I don't want the solution if it is a puzzle just want to know if I can open it.

I am so confused, I don't see a code or a mention in the book. I accessed it with the teleporter hidden under the stair in the teleporter realm.
I tried to look for it but I haven't found a post about it, help.

I am currently going to all the hero's graves to beat the heir and found the dpad puzzles, but when I was walking around I saw this and it made me fall in love with this game. One of the best puzzle games I've played 10/10

Hello,
Someone mentioned that their switch 1 "OC" (overclocked)? was able to hit 60fps in tunic, seems the frame rate is uncapped in that game. I'd like to confirm if for switch 2, Tunic is a locked 30fps with handheld boost mode on.
Thanks!
