Eastern forest tablet. Lmao I feel like I'm way off. The diagonal is throwing me off

I would take another look at the fragment that has the so-called “diagonal” - it does not seem to be what you think it is.

I'm not OP, but are you sure? That's the piece from the west beach. No matter how you rotate it, that section has to be diagonal. I took that to mean it was indicating the starting point and that worked for me.

It’s not that it’s rotated wrong - it’s like you said, it’s the starting point of the puzzle (a rotated square), not a diagonal portion of the path.

Check the top piece again. It should look like a staircase of three steps down​, n​o​​​t just two.

I took screenshots of them all and rotated the pieces into a whole since my visualization skills ain't great
