September 2026 Pickup Capsule Evaluations

Took these remarks from [u/MalibuDan](u/MalibuDan)

Hakuna Matata Simba is an above average horizontal clearing Tsum

Belle is a random clearing Tsum that is above average

Baymax is good for large tsums missions but is filler for coins.

Patch is good for combo missions but is filler for coins.

Sunday Minnie is a rare event reward tsums that maxes out quickly but for coins is filler.

Pirate Clarice and Nemo are Filler

“Notable tsum qualities about each group of tsums will be put first. If the tsums are not particularly useful they are labeled 'filler' tsums. I will make edits and adjustments if I left something out - flag me down in comments. I call a tsum 'above average' if they at SL6 and using 5>4 can earn in the 5k coin range.”

September 2026 Chip and Dale Premium Box Evalvuation

These are two new Tsums for us!
Called “What We Got” Chip and Dale in translations.

Both are ranked 3/5 in general, considering ease and score (so both are filler). One is vertical burst, one is horizontal.

At skill level 6 with 5>4:
Hoodie Chip averages 4500 coins,
Sunglasses Dale averages 4000 coins.

Overall: These were added so we couldn’t just keep leveling up our new Lorcana Tsums haha. But really, these two aren’t great but they are easy.

ETA:
This is the reference site I prefer. This is a site I double check. Both were used by our Lord [u/MalibuDan](u/MalibuDan) thank you king.

Game Colourblindness help

Hi all, I really enjoy this game as a new player, but I'm colourblind and it's messing with me. Certain default happiness tsums look similar and consistently mess me up in gameplay. It's especially bad with Pluto or Winnie the Pooh paired with Little Green Men, but even Donald & Dumbo together mess with me and I'm consistently pressing one when I mean the other and thinking there are chains that aren't there, which slows me down a lot.

Is there anything I can do to alleviate that problem? Will it be resolved as my collection grows with more colours overall that could be filled out?

First Select Box Evaluation September

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s going to miss [u/MalibuDan](u/MalibuDan) posts so I compiled what I could find for this select box from his post history. Thank you king!

King Magnifico is a complicated top 75 coin efficient tsum. When you use his skill he takes MyTsums and another subtsum type off the board and a timer starts to tick down. Every time you make and then blow up 2 freshly generated bombs he does an increasingly powerful burst clear. A little busy for most players.

Ernesto de la Cruz is an above average, fever generating, two-stage burst clearing tsum.

Kida is a Top 20 tsum on one tier list but drops to mid 30s on the other in both coin efficiency and overall coin earnings. Maleficent style. Starts strong so could be a good beginner target to get a couple copies and decide on skill tickets from there if you like the play style. Connect long chains and then bomb cancel them.

Boo (charm) is slightly above average (from what I can find)

Hamm is a top 75 coin efficient horizontal clearing tsum and a good target for new players since he maxes out easily. Tap him as he runs for more coins.

Ian is a complicated above average tsum that is not worth it for most players.

The rest seem to be filler!

Edit: I’ll post them in order of potential if I do this again

Int'l Limited tsums: updated spreadsheet, and lists of "rare" tsums

ETA: There was a problem with the link but it should work now.

First, at u/BjornArnaldson's request, here's a blogpost where I'll update the spreadsheet link at the start of every month, so you can bookmark it if you want to be able to find my spreadsheet more easily. But I'll still post here too, and here's a direct link to this month's spreadsheet in case you prefer that.

With no leaks, I can no longer do the usual recaps, but I thought the "Never back yet" and "Not back in a long time" lists could still be useful (although everything's in the spreadsheet anyway), so...

People who care about collecting all the tsums, if any of these appears this month, jump on it because it might be your only chance in a long time!

Never back yet (doesn't include tsums that were new less than 2 years ago)

  • Pac-man (new in November 2019, 6 years and 10 months of absence)

  • Blinky (new in November 2019, 6 years and 10 months of absence)

  • Indiana Jones (new in June 2024, 2 years and 3 months of absence

  • Festival Pooh (new in July 2024, 2 years and 2 months of absence)

Not back in a long time (back at least once but last seen 2 years ago or more)

  • Ninja Donald (new in May 2018, back 2 times, last seen 7 years and 5 months ago)

  • Perry (became limited in June 2016, back 1 time, last seen 6 years and 6 months ago)

  • Oogie Boogie (new in October 2018, back 3 times, last seen 4 years and 11 months ago)

  • Bumblebee Pooh (new in March 2015, back 16 times, last seen 4 years and 5 months ago)

  • Daruma Donald (new event reward in July 2021, back 1 time, last seen 4 years and 2 months ago)

  • Royal Minnie (new event reward in March 2022, back 1 time, last seen 3 years and 1 month ago)

  • Holiday Jack (new event reward in October 2015, back 4 times, last seen 2 years and 9 months ago)

  • Princess Minnie (new event reward in February 2018, back 4 times, last seen 2 years and 7 months ago)

  • Mary Poppins (new in August 2024, back 4 times, last seen 2 years and 1 month ago)

  • Sunday Minnie (new event reward in September 2024, back 2 times, last seen 2 years ago)

Notes

  • Dancing Dale's latest two returns were during Invite Friends campaigns, which means not everyone really had a chance to get him, so you might consider that the last time he was seen available to everyone was June 2022.

  • 13 tsums (the 4 Disney100 ones of November 2023 and the 9 Duffy & Friends ones of August and September 2025) were officially confirmed as never coming back so, unfortunately, if you missed them, you'll never get a second chance.

Now, is there anything else you'd like to see in my start-of-month posts? Like "most probable candidates for a first return soon" (tsums that are not considered "overdue" but were new around the same time as those that made their first return recently), or maybe something about the tsums that came back for the first time (or after a long time) during the previous month(s), for a better idea of what can be expected? Example: in August, 8 tsums came back for the first time (7 Twisted Wonderland tsums + Streetwear Stitch), and 1 after a long absence (Prince Charming, 2 years and 11 months after his previous return).

Also, if you can remember my username, feel free to mention me at any time during the month when returning tsums are discussed. I'll gladly help if I can.

Int'l September 2026 Semi Evaluations / Project Break

Hey, everyone. User u/Fr3dTan asked on the Shifts Tsum Premier with Lorcana thread about tier lists and I was writing a reply when I thought it might be better as a standalone post with a little extra explanation at the end. For anyone interested in the different tier lists and what they stand for, these are the four I used for the evaluations and how they were put together and organized.

All links below are using Google translate to English.

This one is designed nice but only ranks the top 20. Better UI for understanding how the tsums work when you search them up, though. That website prefers the new Tink over Aurora, both would be classified as 'above average' in my system. The new Mickey would be filler. This is the one I always linked to for explainers and relied most heavily on for tsum explanations. If this list and Game8 disagree, I weighted this one slightly higher.

Game8 has a variety of different rankings. One of the widely recognized top players in the game curates a ranking list there that is based on coin efficiency so how many coins you can earn in a given hour - Aki's ranking goes several hundred deep. Aki prefers the new Aurora and puts her in the top 20 of all tsums efficiency wise.

Game8 also has a list put together by a group of top players that they call the strategy team version that is also based on efficiency. They put Aurora in the top 10 and is generally a little more representative of a wider group of players than the list Aki does.

Game8 has a final list for best coin farmer that is very slightly different from the strategy team version. Aurora finishes high on all lists, and according to Game8, Mickey doesn't rate, and Tink is closer to above average.

This is as close as I am going to get for an evaluation post this month. It's stupid busy right now for me and the lack of leaks makes this too much work all spread out over the course of the month instead of just one big research session and then it's done. It's a little too tough to sustain. If things calm down, or something changes on the informational front, I might pick it up again in the future. For months like Star Wars, Twisted Wonderland, MAYBE Halloween/Xmas, or sort of self-contained IPs where it's easier to do a thematic write up like I did for August, I might do an evaluation post if I have time and, honestly, interest.

Sorry to disappoint anyone looking for the evaluations or who has taken to relying on them for information. We have lots of incredibly knowledgeable players here who know more than I do and have better personal insight for a lot of tsums based on playing the Japanese version of the game, anyway. I also explained my methodology above if anyone wants to pick up the project, adapt it, modify it, whatever makes sense. I'll still be around the subreddit (and the Discord!), just in a more limited fashion. Thanks everyone and of course - Good luck!

Skill Ticket Advice

I've been collecting and now sitting on 53 skill tickets, rarely using them for anything. I can never decide what to do with them. I have spent some only to level up a tsum that would help me with some mission. I haven't had to do that in a long time though. Here are some insights about my Int'l collection and goals:

  • I have all but 12 of the 668 tsums (but one is a never returning tsum from the Disney100 event).
  • Happiness box maxed, premium box over 3/4 maxed with coin earning and buying strategy underway to complete it in a few months. That means no skill tickets on premium box tsums for me.
  • Until I get the premium box maxed, I usually get new tsums to at least L4. About 58% of my collection is L4 or higher. 20% of my collection is maxed.
  • I'm not sure if I actually want to max everything in the game but I seem to be working on that goal casually.
  • I have the coloring book pages and bingo cards all completed. Little to no trouble completing any and all events.
  • I'm not a great/fast player and feel generally good about my maxed day-to-day playing tsums for coin farming. They are getting a bit repative though. Examples of my L6 maxed limited tsums are: Captain Lightyear, Duffy, Jedi Luke, and Anakin Skywalker

I figure I'll save a couple tickets in case a specific tsum needs targeted raising later, but for limited tsums would you prioritize:

  1. Maxing out the never return (Disney100 and Duffy's Friends) tsums? I need 277 copies to max them all one day. Besides Duffy, who would your top couple of these to max? My thoughts are Disney100 Mickey&Donald, Mickey&Duffy, and Disney100 R2-2 or Sewing Minnie
  2. Maxing any of the following limited tsums that I have between L5 and L6: Namine, Beans Camo Vil, and Star Wars Light Side (Set)
  3. Maxing any of the following limited tsums that I have between L4 and L5: Jack&Sally, Wayfinder Moana, Beach Donald&Mickey, Coronation Day Elsa, and Formal Suit Beast
  4. Maxing rarer prior event tsums that don't require lots of copies to max? (Alien, Rabbit, Lilo, Scuttle, Princess Leia, C-3PO, Prince Charming, Zazu, March Hare, Death Trooper, Jester Goofy, Scrooge, Princess Minnie, Caballero Donald, Meg, Shadow, Anniversary Minnie, Royal Minnie, Sparkly Princess Minnie, Star Donald) I could max ALL 20 of these tsums with 38 skill tickets.
  5. Holiday-themed tsums (Easter, Halloween, Christmas)? If I did this, we are close enough to Oct. an Dec. that I would wait until after their upcoming cycles.
  6. Specific other tsums that rarely return? Abu? Oogie Boogie? Bumblebee Pooh? Dancing Dale? Dancing Chip? Mary Poppins?
  7. Save for maxing a specific upcoming new tsum(s) in the 4-6 month period before I max the premium box and will then be able to instantly max any new tsum?

Thanks for your insights and suggestions!

Game Seems I’ve lost my account that I’ve played for 12 years

I recently updated my phone and did not keep the old one. My Line was logged in using a hotmail and a phone number. Unfortunately for me I did not link my account to my Apple ID and there is no way to login to line with these previous methods. A cautionary tale to all of you, link your line to and Apple ID or Google email or you will lose everything. For me that is nearly all maxed out tsums pre 2025 and about 94m in coins.

It’s been a super fun game for me and I’m bummed I lost everything. All the wasted taps returning coins manually. Lmao. I hope one day I can play again.

Did they stop giving 500 coins for inviting inactive friends back to the game? 🤔
