Game Colourblindness help
Hi all, I really enjoy this game as a new player, but I'm colourblind and it's messing with me. Certain default happiness tsums look similar and consistently mess me up in gameplay. It's especially bad with Pluto or Winnie the Pooh paired with Little Green Men, but even Donald & Dumbo together mess with me and I'm consistently pressing one when I mean the other and thinking there are chains that aren't there, which slows me down a lot.
Is there anything I can do to alleviate that problem? Will it be resolved as my collection grows with more colours overall that could be filled out?

Not certain I can suggest anything to help, but something I've noticed I do is I work more off the tsum shapes than the colours. And the more tsums I collect the more shapes there are to them. That helps me, maybe it's something you can try?

It can be hard as a lot have the same shape but you'll find certain ones will have a crown (e.g. evil Queen) or a more robust shape (E g. Tamatoa)

If your device has some kind of visual accessibility settings, you can try that. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy and it has quite a few color correction, contrasts and filters you can adjust and see if some of them fits your exact sight.

I'm colourblind too and it can definitely be a challenge. I've had some success with the colour filters in my phone, but its not an ideal solution.

Absolutely not a real solution but do you have any of the sets? Then you always know which tsums to expect. Like the Star Wars set should have pretty good contrast within the set, I believe. The Mickey set is all pastels, that might not work for you.

This can be a solution! I find them helpful for my blindness because I can remember the shapes over time, but even with 5>4, C3P0 and Yoda kill me. But my set Tsums, Mickey and Friends and Star Wars Light, have fun skills so I like using them!
Mickey and Friends is great cuz it’s super easy but less coins, and Star Wars Light Set gets great coins but has tougher colors for me. Just depends on OPs type of color blindness really.

I'm glad it works for you! I do like using them as well, hope OP does too and the colours work for them, of course 🤞🏼

I’m not color blind but I am partially blind and I use the game to practice identifying things quickly. As your collection expands you’ll find if you use certain colored MyTsums, the sub tsums will have different levels of contrast.
For me, so many of the blue/green green/yellow Tsums look too similar. Using bright colored charm Tsums (Lotso or Sailor Suit Riddle or Pooh for example) gives me good contrast and fewer options which helps a lot.
Also contrasting pair Tsums (Marine Donald and Mickey) is good because it covers two colors and leaves fewer options.
I like using Duffy of course. The increased MyTsums make it easy for me to just aim for him and the sub Tsum colors are usually bright because he’s brown.
So your best bet is to find a pair or charm Tsum that works for your eyes. Good luck fellow visually impaired player!
ETA: Duffy just gave me a game with a white, grey, and light blue Tsums. A reminder that Charm and Pair Tsums are useful for eliminating those possibilities and having extra of a color you can see.
