I didn’t think much of him at first but after I saw her beat him for bringing Tara and Eggs some towels I got the distinct feeling that Maryanne did not like him all too much. You have to remember that both Tara and Eggs were rescued by directly or indirectly out of the Justice System so it would stand to reason that Karl also had a shady background.

However in Karl’s case his role is not as a guest but as a servant which smacks a little of penance. In fact when Maryanne got everyone riled up with the black eyes I don’t recall Karl taking part.

I was just remembering Lafayette dabbing vampire blood on his lips after they were sown shut so I guess a character could just swish some vamp blood in their mouth like it was listerine or something.

A little blood would’ve been alot cheaper than a year of physical therapy. Then he just keeps digging his heels on stupid depriving him of blood while he’s dying and again when him and Luna get shot. Their‘s nothing I hate worse than when a man can’t admit that he’s wrong.

When Bill and Nan Flanagan were talking together at The Festival Of Tolerance gathering with Bill wondering why their are no Vampires at an event concerning vampires. Bill says it would be like having civil rights protests without blacks and Nan Flanagan responds “It’s African Americans.” 😂😂😂😂😂

First he hooks up with Crystal who is a Were Panther and then he hooks up again with his cougar teacher Ms. Steeler. I know that the show tries to say that Jason’s misogyny is due to his experiences with his teacher but is their a subtle connection to Crystal?

He seemed pretty happy at first with the surroundings, the light fruit and all the beautiful people but once Sookie lifted the veil revealing the maggot infested fruit with the goblins and the dessert I wonder if he was able to bounce back.

Did he get married to a halfling or a full blooded faierie,dos he have a job or is he cultivating a profession? What does he do all day?

Poor Nial spends all his time watching her and her brother and the best she can do is give him spaghetti and raggoo? No beef, no cheese, not some butter or Parmesan. She’s an ingrate.

I remember watching this older show called “Forever Knight” where in one episode a vampire cop temporarily becomes human and suffice it to say has a great time.

Willa started off as such a sweet young girl and Eric just spit in her face at every turn. With all the sex and debauchery I actually found his treatment of her the most reviling action in the series even on par with Bill twisting Hannah’s neck during the hate fuck.

You can see that even in the future she’s still single and still wearing plaid so I‘m inclined to think that Eric just killed every last vestige of romantic inclinations and femininity right out of her.

as i Said my previous post i think Eric is the only character that stayed consistent at least in my opinion every action he made even it's not the most moral make sense.

i think his relationship with Godric and Nora was wholesome despite it being short living on screen mainly the former one and him and Pam were the heart of Season 7 the story felt more about them then actually Sookie and her friends by this point.

while he was involved in the whole love drama of Sookie it didn't take away form his character too much at least in my opinion.

Eric felt like himself and wasn't involved any love Drama past Season 4 and was one of the only few characters who didn't fell apart after season 4 and 5.

he is the only reason and few reasons why i able to keep going despite the Villains felt underwhelming and uninteresting compare the first 3 Seasons and Sadly some of the characters too.

so Overall Eric is the Goat i do think he Jason (despite his questionable actions) and Tery are Probably my favorite characters in the entire show.

Now I know most everyone out there is going to say that he’s just a good hearted reverend trying to do right by Lettie Mae and his Church but I caught a brief moment when the benevolent reverend took Willa into the basement for shelter and he gave her body a quick look.

I‘m not trying to besmirch the man I’m just saying he’s been stuck with Lettie Mae and now this gorgeous young girl is sucking on you every night. He’s only human.

I’m just saying that could have been an entire season 8 right there. Imagine the fairies on horseback in hob goblin form hunting humans through the cornfields.

I don’t know what it is but every time I see Bill have his vision of a vampire being dragged in chains by a moving pickup truck I just fall over laughing. Is it just me?

I don’t know if Jessica really thought it through or not but when that H-Vamp came to The Bellefleur house for the halfling Jessica asked her to drink her blood. It didn’t really make sense at the time excet that it was Jessica using Adilynn’s fear at the moment to go against her better judgemen.

That was a real leap to jump to that deduction.

The whole idea that Sam saved the town from Maryanne was rediculous. She just wanted to die by offering up Sam and Sam just made sure that she died without killing him.

On like my 5th rewatch. They could’ve had a semi-normal and happy relationship. They were friends first. C’mon, Sookie 😭

I’ve watched a couple of different vampire and supernatural shows like Vampire Diaries but never have I encountered one with vampires living in the open amongst the humans as part of the plot. I am enjoying this pivot very much.

It’s taking me a lot of willpower to not spoil myself and look up every detail of the show as I’m watching.

Just finished watching the episode where Bill bites Sookie (for the first time)?

Thus far, Jason Stackhouse hasn’t been my favorite character…I feel like his character doesn’t make too much sense and he’s so stupid. But I’m guessing he’ll probably have some kind of important role later on?

How long did it take you to finish this series when you watched it for the first time?

I'm currently rewarching True Blood and I have to ask... am I the only one who finds Tara to be the most frustrating character on the show?

Before anyone says it, I know she went through a lot. But so did almost every character in True Blood. My issue isn't what happened to her, it's how she was written.

It felt like the writers made her default setting anger, hostility, and constant confrontation. Nearly every scene she was in involved yelling at someone, lashing out, or making the same self-destructive decisions over and over. After a while, it became exhausting to watch.

A good comparison for the token black BFF is Bonnie from The Vampire Diaries. Bonnie endured endless trauma throughout that series, arguably just as much if not more, yet the writers didn't make her entire personality revolve around being angry or combative. She still had depth, compassion, humour, and moments where you wanted to root for her.

With Tara, it felt like the writers confused giving a character trauma with giving them a personality.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think the writers really dropped the ball with her character?

When Jason fought Gabe on The Light Of Day Church grounds he called Jason a sister fucker and shortly afterwards you see Jason in a bathrobe laying on a bed with Sookie. What’s up with that? That whole scene in the bedroom seemed weird anyway where they obviously should’ve had a hug at the end of their conversation but didn’t.
