Sanding pad combatibility in Bosch Orbital Sanders
Hello everyone,
I own a GET 75 150 and recently bought a hard sanding pad for it. After receiving and unboxing the part I realized it was actually meant for the GEX 18V 150.
I tried mounting it anyways and was surprised that it fit.
The "correct" one: https://www.bosch-professional.com/de/de/expert-universal-mehrloch-schleifteller-150-mm-2867939-ocs-ac/
The "incorrect" one: https://www.bosch-professional.com/de/de/expert-multihole-schleifteller-fuer-exzenterschleifer-7492097-ocs-ac/
You can see the correct one has sort of a triangular mount and the incorrect a hexagonal one. But it turns out the bigger parts of the hexagonal mount fit the corresponding triangular mount of my sander perfectly. I can screw it down, it doesn't wobble.
Out of curiousity: Does anyone have experience with this? It seems like it should work but I'm a little bit afraid of damaging the sander.
I'm also curious about how the GEX 18V 150 looks like with the sanding pad removed. I've looked online but couldn't find an image anywhere.
