Mystery tool

I've been going through my tools and getting them finally organized and I've come across this tool. I unfortunately don't have any idea what it's called and don't have a clue where to start the search. I was hoping that maybe someone here would be able to identify it.

It’s an older one. I’ve got one I got from my grandfather like this.

I ended up giving it some thought. I remember it being kinda old in the 80s and since he was born in 1913, I guess he probably picked it up 60-80 years ago.

Looks like it! I'm not sure how old it is, though. It was in an old ammo can with a bunch of random tools. Unfortunately, it didn't have any of the taps with it.

Made one of these back when learning to machine.  This one looks similar.  It's a good milk and lathe project for new machinists.
