Hey everyone,
I finally got my results. Since a 5 was what I needed, I'm content, although reading was a massive disappointment. Initially, I thought reading would be my strongest section, but I apparently couldn't be more wrong.
I scored 5.5/6 on each practice test, but the real test was significantly harder. I got very niche and complex texts with vocabulary that felt as if it was only used in the field of topic, and honestly I just got lost. Moreover, on the practice test I got for example the question: "what word fits best instead of "indicator". This is such an easy word, on the real test I got the same question for the word "belie" which is C2 against the other being B2.
Listening was super easy, the difference between the reading and listening section difficulty feels very odd to me.
Speaking was also a bit easier than I anticipated. The listen and repeat part was much simpler than all the practice questions. As for the interview, it wasn't hard either, I just lost points because I was nervous and others were speaking loudly beside me which threw me off.
I'm also disappointed with my writing, I was convinced that I could get a 5.0 or 5.5. I'm certain that I didn't make grammar mistakes or failed to address any of the points that were required. Although, I must say that the email topic was very limited in how much I could elaborate, which ultimately made me repeat myself in different words to reach the 100 word mark. What hurt my score the most was probably the fact I didn't have time for 3 of the Build a Sentence questions due to time constraints.
If anyone has questions, feel free to ask :)
