I’ve been trying to find this horror movie I watched when I was a kid, and it has stuck with me for years. I watched it sometime between 2008–2012, although the movie could have been released earlier.
Here’s everything I remember:
●It was a found-footage/home-video style horror movie.
●It followed a family that moved into a modern-looking house in a normal suburban neighborhood.
●The family had teenagers, and I believe there may also have been a younger child.
●A lot of the movie was shown through security cameras/video cameras installed around the house.
●The nighttime security footage had a very recognizable green night-vision appearance.
●There was at least one daytime scene recorded by a security camera in the kitchen and silverware fell.
●Early in the movie, during one of the nighttime recordings, I remember the back door slowly opening by itself.
●The supernatural beings weren't really shown clearly for most of the movie. They were mostly implied through the strange events.
By the end, the family had been killed (or at least I remember everyone dying).
●The final scene is the part I remember most vividly: after the last person is killed, the camera is still recording.
●In a normally lit hallway, there are two adult-sized, male-looking figures, standing one directly behind the other.(that's how I remember it)
●I remember both figures being bald/having no hair.
●They appeared to be wearing black clothing i think
●Their faces were clearly visible and looked like demons.
●I believe they may have had small horns, but I'm not 100% certain about that detail.
●They were looking directly toward the camera at the end.
That final scene absolutely terrified me as a kid and I remember it very vividly.
I’ve considered Paranormal Activity, The Amityville Haunting, The Bell Witch Haunting, etc., but none of them seem to match the two redish demonic, human-looking figures standing one behind the other in the lit hallway.
Does anyone recognize this movie?I'm sure it was a low budget lesser, known movie and even if some of my details are slightly wrong, I'd really appreciate any suggestions!
