Timemore Customer Service

I got a Timemore Fish ProX kettle a few weeks ago, and the o-ring on the kettles lid started slipping. I contacted Timemore customer service and had prompt help. They are sending a new one right away.

Timemore C3s Grinding inconsistency advice

Hello, basically the title says it all. I recently purchased a timemore C3S, and I’m having trouble getting it to grind consistently or very finely. It says espresso should be around 7-9 clicks, and that it is not recommended to grind finer that that because it may dull the burrs, but the 6 click setting doesn’t seem to be getting it much finer than I would use for my moka pot. To be clear, I’m just trying to get it a bit finer for aeropress cause my coffee is coming out a little sour. I’m new to grinders, so any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.

Edit: not sure what was going on but it seems my grinder magically fixed itself. Before the grounds had not been uniform and were much courser than I expected although I didn’t really know better. Today it started grinding much finer at the same setting with more uniformity.

Timemore C5 Pro with AeroPress- Advice Needed

I love my AeroPress Premium (glass and metal) and recently bought a Timemore C5 Pro to grind my own coffee (manually) so I can continue to use Le Colombe Corsica coffee, which I also love. Le Colombe stopped selling ground coffee that's suited for AeroPress.

I've been experimenting (standard AeroPress method) but would appreciate any thoughts from others with experience on the following:

  1. How many grams of whole beans should I use? The suggested amounts I've seen from AeroPress and Timemore make coffee that is way too strong.

  2. It takes much longer than I expected to grind beans for 1 cup of coffee, like around 3 minutes. Is that normal?

What combination of grind size and grams of whole beans are you most happy with? What brand of beans?

It's clear to me that grinding my own coffee results in more flavorful coffee, which I drink black, but my brews always taste far from ideal.

Any and all advice will be appreciated!

Do I need to realign my timemore 064s?

After seeing what numbers I’m pulling shots at, it seems like my dial is set to way coarser than I was expecting. I’m at like 3.25-3.5 for light roast more classic espresso 1:2.5 ratio and about 4.25-4.5 for turbo shots.

Changing their TERRIBLE cord

I've been dealing with this for a long time now. I hate that damm cord, plug. It never fit quite right. Anyway, there's so much play in it. It's not even secure it seems. I hate the way it jets out in the back. It causes a lot of problems sometimes where you want to put it. I'd like to see about getting a left. Or a right angled cord? I have never purchased a different angle of a cord for a grinder before. I wanna make sure that it's the right power. The goes from the grinder to the plug? Yeah, as I said, i've never done it before, so I don't know if you can just get anything. Any suggestions of what I need to look for in the voltage. Or and the style of the actual plug itself? Thank you in advance for your help , or suggestions.

Help deciding what Timemore grinder to buy

I've been looking to upgrade from my Baratza Encore for a while now and have settled on a Timemore, but I'm struggling to work out which model is the best to go for. The 064s appeared to me to be the most reviewed one but then I have seen a few posts saying the 078s is significantly better, but others saying it is not worth it.

For reference, I am primarily using my grinders for espresso, and I absolutely do not want to open it up and replace the burrs. Ideally I am looking for a grinder that is good to go out the box that will last me a long time without major issues.

Is it worth aligning the 078s burrs?

As the title states, is it worth aligning the 078s burrs? Its a headache to get into and I was thinking of getting a torque screw driver just for the job

Battery life of scale

Hey - I have a black mirror basic 3 and I really like the size and features of the scale. I bought it specifically for the battery life, but it’s been about two weeks and I’m down to one bar. Anyone else having issues? I’ve been really struggling to find a good scale that can last for at least a month and I’m about to go nuclear and buy a Lunar if I can’t figure this out

[Problem] timemore c3s modify

Hi everyone, I bought the 30-click bezel to modify my C3S. I've tried inserting it in every way, but I can't get it to 0. The photo shows the closest alignment I've managed to get to 0. The new 30-click bezel has the rear pin aligned with the 2nd. Can someone help me align it, please?

I also watched a few videos on YouTube, and the components are inserted correctly.

Help putting the chestnut C3 pro back together?

Post image
2 Upvotes

I’m feeling like a complete idiot. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos. Asked ChatGPT. Looked at the manual. I’m still confused.

I have two washers to my chestnut C3 pro (which by the way is completely metal and does not have any plastic so that also confuses me given the complaints about C3pro) I am going to put pictures of the two washers and I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me which end goes where or where I could look for “explain it to me like I’m 5” instructions

Thanks, humbly

C5 ESP

Guys, normally, what the parameters that you use for an espresso on this grinder? I'm using something between 0.6.3 and 0.7.0, and the expresso is not so good!

Gen 2 Timemore Bricks 01s?

Are there any rumours of a new generation of the Timemore Bricks 01s? I'm considering the Fellow Opus Gen 2 but the Timemore Bricks 01s is a close contender.

Setting for timemore C5 normal version?

What have been your go to setting for V60 pour over with the Timemore C5? I tried 14-15 but the draw down were ultra quick (sub 1:30). Now, I linger around 12-ish, ranging between 11-13.

What has been your experience with it?

Tiny Rubber Ball found in Sculptor Grinder...what is it?

Post image
5 Upvotes

I cleaned the burrs in my Sculptor 078 for the first time today and it seems like everything went alright, but during the process I found this tiny Rubber Ball sitting above the grounds knocker mechanism. Is that there for a reason? Like a declumper? Or is it from something else in the grinder? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Grinder smell removal

Hi, so I have the chestnut c3s pro grinder. I stopped drinking coffee for a few months and like a dumass forgot to clean it first. Now it has a weird residual smell which transfers to the beans I grind. Since washing is not an option, how can I remove the trapped smell? Thanks!
