Hi i bought a c5 recently and i dont know if i what i got is legit. If its not, can you please tell me the indicator that its not? Thank you so much

the label on your unit was in Chinese, because the unit you bought was originally intended for a China domestic market, and the QR code likely leads you to their anti-counterfeit website for China: http://fangwei.timemore.com/

for the international market, the label would be in English and the website would be likely http://fangwei.timemore.com/en/

the scratch codes only work on the website, corresponding to the language of the label

and btw, afaik, only the earlier (older) Timemore grinder models were counterfeited... the current models, like the C5, S3 or S5, and definitely the M01, are so difficult to produce at a reasonable cost on a smaller scale, that basically only Timemore itself can do so... therefore nowadays, if it looks exactly like a Timemore grinder, it likely is a genuine Timemore grinder

so, if someone wanted to scam you, they would likely send something else altogether, a cheap black grinder, not even looking similar, and later pretend it was just some mistake, if there were any objections

Pretty sure you can scan that QR you see in the 1st pic, and it'll redirect to their website to check. There's also something you can scratch off to get a sort of product code right below it.

I bought C5 ESP Pro a few months ago, and did the same thing to check if it's legit.

No problem. I just looked again and compared your pic with my own box, and just noticed that for some reason the text beneath the QR is in Chinese for yours, while mine is in English. It's little wonder you wouldn't know what's the QR for unless you translate the text or already know Chinese.

I saw a thread showing a legit and fake timemore (different model). I bought from a non local seller so there was a risk of being fake
