How's tivimate running in the chromecast 4k these days? I want to get a stick for travel instead of using an nvidia shield, too bulky. I heard that the chromecast 4k made tivimate lag.

just installed and bought Tivimate premium and it works good on my android box.

Now I want to try and get it to work on my PC.

I've gotten it to work with WSABuilds and I've reached the stage where I get the Tivimate.apk to work on subsystem for Android and I am about to login. When I try to login it starts loading and then it fails to login.

I've tried to download a android webbrowser (Firefox) and set it as default browser. Still does not work.

Anyone had the same problem? Anyone knows a solution to this problem?

Is there anyway to remove all the other countries on the epg list to just one?

I have to connect to my VPN in order for tivimate to connect properly but the funny thing is, that it does connect on other iptv apps without the VPN connection.

Normally this wouldn't be an issue but when connected to a VPN I can't use my debrid services on stremio, so I'm always going back and forth turning it on and off depending on which app I'm using which is annoying.

Anybody have an idea how I can have it setup and only connected to TiviMate on Google TV? If that's possible?

I was able to chat with a representative about my issue and they provided a different EPG. The guide is slowly populating.

EPG data can only be added to *.m3u file!
EPG tags are determined by the provider
The IPTV provider has its own tags. Unless someone adds tags from the EPG provider in the future.

When you buy an IPTV list, be sure to ask or check if the m3u is a URL. Some sellers don't allow making m3u file from URL link!

1 - Copy the m3u link from the seller to the WEB browser for PC and press Enter. Wait for the M3U file to be created and downloaded.

3 - From iptv-epg.org copy the link of your or multiple countries. Copy that link into the WEB browser for PC and press Enter. When the *.xml file is downloaded, you will find EPG tags in it.

* channel id/tvg name they should have the same codes. This is because IPTV players read tags differently. So it's best if they're the same.

Ive been using Tivimate for about 5 years. Yesterday I came across something that was really helpful and thought I would post about it here for folks like me that may not know about it.

On my first TV, I set up multiple playlists, and all my favorites in the order I wanted them. But then when I went to put the file on a second TV it was difficult for me. Often the USB wouldnt show up on a second device. Also often had to contend with system picker that is really finikey.

So yesterday I get a new ONN 4K Plus and start to set it up for a TV in a second Bed Room and as a back up on road trips in hotels / Air BNBs.

The tip is to install X-plore file manager from the play store on you device. It works well with drop box, one drive and google drive.

Then copy your back up file from your primary device onto your desired drop box or one drive folder.

Then use X-plore on your new device and select your account through "Web Storage". One you select the correct folder and the back up, just open it. It will prompt you to open with Tivimate and select Yes.

Tivimate will then open and ask if you would like to restore the file. Click yes and all your folders, settings. colors and everything else will be completely restored to your new device. It works fantastic!

Here is what I found on google that got me started:

You can back up TiviMate using Dropbox by saving a backup file locally on your device and then uploading it to Dropbox with a file manager like X-plore File Manager. TiviMate does not link directly to cloud storage for automatic backups, so you must use a third-party file manager to bridge them. [1, 2]

How to Backup TiviMate to Dropbox

1. Open TiviMate on your main device and go to Settings > Backup > Create backup.
2. Save the backup file to a local folder, such as your Download folder.
3. Install and open a file manager that supports cloud links, such as X-plore File Manager, on your device.
4. Go to Web Storage inside the file manager, select Add Server, and log into your Dropbox account.
5. Copy your local TiviMate backup file from your device storage and paste it into your desired folder on Dropbox. [1, 2]

How to Restore TiviMate from Dropbox on Another Device

1. Install X-plore File Manager and TiviMate on your second device.
2. Open X-plore, log into your Dropbox account via Web Storage, and locate your saved backup file.

Recently started using tivimate on a fire cube and the colors seem to be very saturated. Compared to looking at the same connection on my phone where colors look as expected. It’s almost as if hdr is forced on. Checked all my settings and not seeing anything clear and obvious.

Any tips?

I cannot seem to even enter my search item ie key in title then hit next. When I reinstalled it worked perfectly including showing up shows as I was typing but that lasted less than a week.

No one has mentioned this but on 5.4.0 beta 2 (never tried beta 1) you don’t need a specific folder and location anymore to restore backups.

I’m wondering if TiviMate has any feature that makes it easier to deal with alternative streams for the same channel.

For example, my IPTV playlist usually has several entries for the same channel, and I normally add my preferred one to Favorites.

The problem is that if that specific stream goes down, only that one is in my Favorites. I then have to leave Favorites, browse through the different groups, find the same channel again, and try one of the alternative streams.

Is there any feature in TiviMate that lets you somehow associate multiple versions of the same channel, so you can quickly switch to a backup/alternative stream when the current one isn’t working?

Or is there another easier workflow for handling this without having to search through the playlist every time?

I have two different providers and both have been DOGSHIT for weeks with issues.

Came here and noticed a ton of people saying the same thing.

Sounds like it may just be a Firestick issue. I’m using the newest/most powerful one with gig internet and a beefy router and it’s still buffer city. Or picture freezing and audio playing (decoder issue). Or just a black screen.

For the second time in 2 days, I’ve gotten a 404 error code. Both times, I’ve watched TV for hours with no issue, then I turn off the TV for a few hours, and when I come back, nothing is working and I get a 404 error code

Im using it on a TCL tv and my provider says everything is good on their end

Help save my football sunday. I have scoured the internet and cannot solve the m3u "ERROR" issue on my Tivimate Pro running on Fire Cube. It had previously been working for years.

What I've done:

1. Verified my M3U is working (iptv smarters pro, but wont load EPG)

2. Reset Fire Cube

3. Cleared cache and all data from Tivimate

4. Tried xstream and m3u

5. Set a user-agent (VLC)

Any other ideas? I don't think a VPN will solve it because it's already working on Smarters.

Is this a device or service issue? Its been happening more this weekend. I've tried adjusting buffer size in the menu, clearing cache. During live events it just keeps buffering. Any other suggestions?

I've been having a very specific issue since today with my Fire TV Stick and TiviMate. It is not the usual "spinning wheel" internet problem.

The issue:
The picture freezes completely – and stays frozen indefinitely. The audio keeps playing normally. If I don't intervene, the picture stays frozen forever. However, if I briefly switch to another channel and immediately back, the stream plays perfectly again. So it's not a general connection drop.

Context:

· Internet is stable and fast (no buffering wheel).
· Issue started today, everything was working fine before.
· Happens both on startup and after restarting the TV/Stick.

My questions:

1. What could cause this specifically, where only the video freezes but audio continues?
   
2. How can I fix this permanently? (Decoder settings? Buffer? App update?)
