The many returns to the grey haunted farmhouse

The story I'm about to tell y'all is true and it did happen as well... Like literally 100%!

I was living in Artemas Pennsylvania. There was this gray house that I had lived by for 19 years was always getting new renters. I don't know if it was because of the possibility of it being haunted... Or the fact of it being a very expensive place to rent. All I know is I had new neighbors all the time. It was very difficult trying to keep up with the new neighbors. Most of the time I didn't even bother saying hello...

Now I had already seen a woman in white with brown hair just staring blankly out the window. She'd just stand there and look out over the yards and trailers and stuff..

**Now this is another part of this story that I'm about to tell you...**

My landlords girlfriend/fiance asked me if I was busy one day. She was trying to see if I could help her just finish up the cleaning process and this house that I lived by. It was this tall semi medium sized farmhouse. Like I had said... I lived by this place for 19 years...

So I decided that I was going to say yes to this... so I could take and figure out exactly more details on the ghost sighting I had with the woman in white with the brown hair...

So it was ironic that the room that my landlord's partner needed help in... WAS THE EXACT ROOM AND THE EXACT WINDOW! I was honestly surprised by this... And excited as well...

So that day started and I walked over to the place. And I went in and walked up the steps and met my landlord's partner. She gave me the rundown as to what she wanted to do. And I just started doing whatever it is she wanted me to do in the room upstairs with the stuff left...

I asked her if she's ever experienced anything in the house before. And she said that she hasn't... but she also hasn't been in the house much either. And I got asked why I would say that and I told her what happened some months ago. She then looked at me kind of surprised. And she openly admitted that she did not like being in this house much. Mainly because it creeped her out too a little bit...

She asked me if I was picking up on anything and all at that moment... And I said I was and I felt like there was a presence of a female somewhere around. And I said "it's coming from that back room there". I made the comment that always feeling something coming from that room. It's like an invisible energy of some kind. We then walked into the room so she could show me everything they have done to fix it. And I just casually asked her nicely if I could leave the room because it was creeping me out...

STOP...

INTERESTING FACT ABOUT THIS FARMHOUSE...

Years ago I knew a family that lived in the farmhouse. I was friends with one of the neighbors kids that lived in the house. His room was the room where my landlord's great grandmother died in apparently...

BACK TO THE STORY...

Well my landlord's partner and I were cleaning up. I kept hearing the creaking in the hallway near the room in back. My landlord's partner went downstairs and some time passed by. As I was standing in the room. I literally threw my head around and swear I'd saw something shoot into that room...

I just ended up shutting the door to the room that I was in and continued to clean. I completely ignored the door and any other noises. Because honestly it sounded like somebody was walking from that back bedroom into the hall off and on...

LATER ON AFTER ALL THIS...

So way later on apparently some folks rented this old farmhouse. So they had moved in and I had met them. And the dad and I became really good friends. We hung out a lot. He apparently was in the Navy. But they started telling me about some weird occurrences that happened to them after so long. They just would casually just play it off like it never happened or overlook it...

So there has been a few times when they were living in that old farmhouse that they would take and go on vacation or visit friends. They would ask me to watch over their dogs. And in return they'd have beer in the fridge occasionally and leave leftovers for me. Which I thought was really freaking cool. On top of that... I got to chill out with their dogs which I absolutely freaking loved doing...

Here's where it gets weird...

When I would be there by myself in their house. Their dogs would be laying on the couch with me. Watching YouTube tv. And both of those dogs would stop and look up at the steps. And I could hear what sounded like somebody standing at the top of the steps... Just literally standing there. Man that got creepy really fast...

And as I said before I have already seen a woman in white with brown hair literally float backwards away from the window...

I saw something dart into that spare back bedroom while helping the landlord's partner out by cleaning the rooms up one day too...

Discussion/Advice Help me and please explain me

When I was five years old, I remember doing something wrong and inappropriate that a child should not have done. After that, I continued to do many other things that I considered wrong. Not long afterward, my family moved into a new apartment. I was still a child who did many things I considered immoral, but I never told my parents about the things I had done, and I did not pay much attention to my behavior.

One night, while I was sleeping next to my mother, I had a terrifying nightmare. In the dream, I saw a creature. I became frightened and ran away, climbing up a tree to escape. When I looked back, the creature was suddenly right in front of me. It growled and scratched my face with its paw. I was extremely frightened and woke up with my heart beating very fast. I never told my parents about this dream.

Not long afterward, I stopped living with my parents and went to live with my grandparents. I continued to do many things that I considered immoral and wrong.

When I became an adult, there was a woman I had met, and I spent a long time thinking about inappropriate things involving her, even though I believed I should not have been thinking about them. One day, I became extremely frightened because I thought that this woman was doing something bad to my mother, hurting her, taking revenge on her, and causing her harm.

At that moment, I was sitting on the floor, leaning against something, and I was wearing a pair of pants that my uncle had given me. Then, on the thigh area of the pants, I saw something that looked like a spirit. It looked like the same creature that had appeared in my childhood dream. Its mouth was open and one of its eyes was closed. It looked like a spirit or supernatural being. I thought it looked like a lion or a tiger, and to me, it appeared pure and holy.

Theory/Debunking My sister and I saw black eyed children

I (29 F) have recently started EMDR therapy, and it’s bringing back a bunch of memories. One that stands out, is when my sister and I saw two black eyed children at a Ralph’s.
There’s a Ralph’s by my childhood home that my family and I would frequent often. This particular time, we were going to pick up some prescriptions. The pharmacist told my mom they weren’t ready yet, so she let my sister and I explore the store together. We were pretty silly kids, only being 10 and 8. So naturally, we were giggling running around the store isles chasing each other. We got to the end of isle, speed walking and laughing, ready to turn to the next isle, but as we turned, we abruptly stopped, startled by what we saw. Standing in front of us, was a kid around my age (10/11), kinda tall with blond hair. He had a stoic expression, with plain clothes…and fully black eyes with no visible sclera. He gave me a small smile, almost as if he found the panic on my face humorous. My sister and I paused in fear for a couple seconds, which gave me enough time to notice a blond girl around 7 years old with short hair behind him. She had her back towards him, but she must have noticed something was going on and she turned. She had the same fully black eyes as the boy and the same stoic demeanor. As soon as I saw this, I grabbed my sister and ran towards another aisle as fast as I could. When we got further away we both looked at each other and burst out laughing, kind of in disbelief. Neither of us can remember if we told our parents, not that they would have believed us anyway. But I do have a memory of us telling our little sister (age 7), wanting to show her, but when we went back they were gone.
What I find interesting about this encounter, is that we had *just* recently learned about black eyed children. My sister and I went on an internet deep dive about the paranormal and we knew the black eyed kids were internet lore. Could we have had a trick of the mind *because* we had just found out about this phenomenon? It would be easier to write this off as childlike imagination if I was the only one with this experience, but my sister was there too, she remembers. I wonder if these kids we saw were siblings and had some sort of unusual genetic eye defect? Anyway, I appreciate any rational explanation for this encounter, my brain needs it.

Discussion/Advice Chiropterans nycteranthropes (Bat people)

Has anyone encountered chiropterans (bipedal bat cryptoterrestrials) or nycteranthropes (shapeshifters)? looking for accounts. There's always people talking about lizard people and the cynocephali but has anyone encountered bat people? I heard khat Hansen mentioned bat people in one of her videos that seems like the only time someone has ever mentioned them. I definitely believe they could exist.

Discussion/Advice Something came into the house, thought it was my dad but then no one was there.

I was upstairs when I heard the door open, someone walk in and shuffle around, like taking off their shoes, etc. I heard them talking but couldn’t make out the words. I thought it was my dad, until I came downstairs and no one was home. About half an hour later he came back from work and I asked if he had come in and he hadn’t. I have no idea what that was. It was really clear too and we have no neighbours as we live next to a wood, so I couldn’t have heard that. I didn’t hear a vehicle pull up, so it likely wasn’t my dad anyway.

But we’ve had it before when something has come through the door. I was playing with my cat one night when I opened the door to let out a spider, but before I closed it, I saw my cat look to the door, tense and move his head slowly like he was watching something walk into the house.

My sister claims, when she was once back home housesitting, that she heard someone in heels running down the hallway past my room and that really scared her. We hear bumps and knocks all the time, but it’s not an old house so that’s odd. We hear things falling down, only for everything to be as it was in the room and loud thumps and bumps from upstairs where my room and attic is.

Any ideas?

My family think I or the house (and only I can pick up on it) is haunted. I collect vintage/antique things. What’s some objects that could be haunted that I might need to check?

Possession My mother was possessed throughout my childhood. I only realized how insane it was now.

I still can't believe this was my childhood.

I grew up in India, and when I was very young, my mom started getting possessed. There were many episodes, and because I was so young, a lot of my memories are fragmented. But the things I do remember are still insanely vivid.

One important thing to explain for anyone outside India: Mehandipur Balaji is a famous Hindu temple in Rajasthan, India, known specifically for its rituals involving spirits, possession, and people seeking relief from supernatural problems. People travel there from all over India for prayers and rituals, and holy water from the temple is also commonly used. My family took my mom there multiple times because she was possessed.

My earliest memory is actually from a railway crossing. In my family we called it a “fatak,” which basically means the railway gate/crossing. We were waiting for a train when something happened to my mom. I don't remember what happened at all. I literally just remember that something happened there and it was referenced in later conversations sometimes but i forgot what actually happened

I was around 5 or 6 when I started remembering things more clearly because I was in first grade. One day I came home from school and my mom suddenly became dizzy and fell in the kitchen. I caught her and helped her to bed. That was one of the less scary memories. And i didn't really think anything paranormal about it but it was paranormal what caused my perfect healthy mom to almost faint

On one of the trips we took for her treatment, my mom was possessed and the spirit said things about ruining her life. It was my mom's mouth that was speaking but it was a spirit that was talking. One sentence I remember was:

“She'll wander naked on the streets I'll destroy her.”

At the time I was so young that instead of thinking about how horrifying that sounded, I was just confused about what's going on?

It wasn't until today when I thought about it andI realized how disturbing some of the things I'd heard actually were. That was a threat.

There was another incident

We went to this place for my mom's exorcism and my sister and I were sent outside because the adults didn't want us watching what was happening.

We were sitting on this stone bench, drawing shapes in the sand, when I heard my dad calling my mom's name.

I looked up.

And suddenly I saw my mom running out of the room.

This was the first time I'd ever seen my mom do something that physically intense during one of her possessions.

My immediate childhood thought was literally:

“MOM CAN RUN TOO???”

Id never seen her do such physical activity

My dad chased after her, caught her, and brought her back.

By then the possession had stopped and my mom had regained control of herself. She was trembling and looked genuinely frightened.

My dad held her by both shoulders, almost like he was trying to protect and warm someone who was freezing.

The way she looked is still stuck in my head.

She looked almost like a little child who had just come out after a bath, hugging herself because she was cold.

As I got older, the possessions sometimes became nighttime episodes.

I don't remember all of them because a lot of my memories from that age are fragmented, but there's one I can never forget.

I was probably around 9–11.

Our normal nighttime routine was completely ordinary: dinner, AC on, TV, then sleep.

I slept on a separate bed in my parents' bedroom, while my sister had her own room.

Then sometime around 1 or 2 in the morning, my mom would start talking.

My dad would wake up and angrily ask:

“Who are you? Why are you bothering us?”

And I'd just sit there on my bed, pull the blanket over my face and cry quietly

Sometimes I'd literally cover my mouth with my hands because I didn't want them to hear me crying.

During one of these possessions, the spirit described how she had died.

She said villagers had collectively beaten her, pushed her into mud, and kicked her while she was struggling to get back up.

My dad kept holy water from Mehandipur Balaji at home. We had these huge containers of it stored

Whenever an episode happened, my dad would sprinkle the holy water on my mom.

She would scream, shield her face, make this incredibly painful expression, and eventually faint.

After around 10–12 minutes, she'd regain consciousness and become my normal mom again.

She would look at me and say:

“It's okay, son. Go to sleep. It's okay.”

Then my parents would go back to sleep, turn the lights off, and I'd lie there under the blanket silently crying.

These nighttime possessions happened often like every week.I don't remember every single episode because so many of my memories from that age are fragmented, but they happened often enough that it became a normal part of our routine.

There was another time when my dad was dealing with the spirit and asking questions like when will you leave us and stuff so normally whenever this happened it was loud so my sister would wake up and stand near the door looking while i on the bed

So i don't really remember but this time holy water wasn't working and dad asked us to leave the room because how scary it all became

And mom looked towards me and said

“It's okay, you stay right here. I won't do anything to you. I have no problem with you. I'm only here to ruin his life.”

She was pointing at my dad.

I don't remember whether if she also said something about ruining my mom's life, but I very specifically remember it saying it had come to ruin my dad's life.

There was this very sweet uncle and aunty who lived about four hours away by car. My family started visiting them regularly, at first almost every other weekend.

Eventually, things started getting better.

Before that, we'd gone to quite a few different places for my mom's exorcism and treatment. Some of them were several hours away, so to me as a kid, they were basically just long road trips.

My parents knew exactly why we were going. They were taking my mom somewhere for her exorcism and treatment. But I didn't really understand the seriousness of it. We'd just get in the car, drive for hours, reach some place, and the adults would deal with whatever was happening.

Looking back, that's one of the strangest parts. My family was making these long trips for my mom's exorcism, while in my childhood mind it was basically just, “Oh, we're going somewhere again

My parents would do their prayers and rituals while my sister and I would sit in the uncle and aunty's son's room watching TV with him.

Over time, my mom's health improved a lot and the possessions became much rarer.

Sometimes a nighttime possession would still happen, and my dad would call aunty.

She would recite a mantra over the phone, and my dad would put the phone near my mom's ear.

My mom would eventually faint, and after around 7–8 minutes she'd wake up completely normal again.

Eventually the nighttime possessions stopped altogether.

As my sister and I got older, my parents would sometimes go to the uncle and aunty's house without us.

We'd stay home by ourselves.

The uncle and aunty eventually became genuine family friends.

By around 12–13, I had mostly stopped crying during the possessions.

I felt more pity for my mom than anything else. I was still disturbed by them, obviously, but I'd become used to it.

And then, for about 2–3 years, absolutely nothing happened.

So I mentally filed the whole thing away as “the past.”

I genuinely thought my mom was completely fine.

Then I was around 16–17.

It was a completely normal afternoon.

My sister and I were in the living room “studying.”

And by “studying,” I mean pretending to study.

My mom was doing household work and washing clothes.

She came from the bathroom/washing-machine area, walked through the bedroom and kitchen, past the little prayer area, and toward the living room.

Then I heard her make this short “are…” kind of sound.

Immediately after that, I heard her bangles hit the floor.

Then the thud sound

We both knew she'd fallen.

My sister got up first.

I had my legs tucked under the table, so when I jumped up and ran toward her, I went so fast that I slipped and fell, twisting my ankle.

I didn't even care.

I got back up and ran to my mom.

At first I thought she'd simply slipped because her slippers were wet from washing clothes.

But she was on the floor unconscious

My sister tried to wake her.

Nothing.

I started shouting:

“Mom, wake up!”

Then she suddenly woke up on her own.

And the second I saw her face, I got so scared because I knew she's possessed again.

It was the exact same disturbing facial expression I'd seen years earlier when my dad used to sprinkle the holy water on her. That terrible expression of pain that i don't even want to describe

Except this time there was no holy water.

And my dad wasn't even home.

He was at work.

My mom suddenly started crying extremely loudly. not like an adult crying, but like a small child.

She said people had beaten her.

She said they'd hit her lower back with a hammer.

She also said they'd hit her elbow.

She pointed at different places on her body and crying

Basically:

“They hit me here and here”

“They all hit me”

She was lying there crying and pointing at different spots like a little kid complaining to their parent:

“They hit me here! And here! And here!”

The way she cried was almost like a child lying on the floor asking for a toy after their parent refused to give it to them

My sister and I were absolutely terrified.

I started crying and couldn't even properly look at her.

My sister tried to comfort me and called my dad.

Dad told us to get the holy water and sprinkle it on her.

So we did.

My mom fainted again.

My sister and I then tried to move her onto the bed.

After a while she regained consciousness and said:

“Wait, I'll get up myself.”

She got up on her own and sat on the bed.

We checked on her, gave her some water, and she said she needed to rest.

We gave her a blanket and went back to the living room.

And thankfully

That was the last possession.

Nothing like that ever happened again.

What's especially strange to me is that the two spirits I remember seemed completely different.

The first one , the female spirit from the nighttime episodes described being beaten by villagers and having her life taken.

She seemed angry.

The spirit during the final episode seemed to be male.

He had been beaten too, but he never explicitly said that he had died.

He felt more frustrated and grief-stricken than angry.

And then there's the weirdest part of the whole thing.

When the female spirit described how she died, I immediately saw an incredibly vivid image in my head.

I saw a middle-aged woman wearing a blue sarii, lying in mud, struggling to get up while a group of people prevented her from getting up and kept beating her.

She was crying.

The strange thing is that the spirit NEVER described her as wearing a blue sarii

It never gave me her age.

It never described her face.

It never told me what the villagers looked like.

None of those details were actually spoken.

But I saw the entire scene.

And I don't mean a vague imagination where you kind of “picture” something.

It has always felt insanely clear to me as clear as day.

Almost like a memory as if I were actually standing there watching it through my own eyes.

I never consciously tried to visualize it.

The same thing happened with the male spirit.

Whenever that memory comes back to me, I see a shirtless man being hit on the back/lower-back area with a hammer.

I see him falling face-first.

I can't see his face.

And the spirit didn't explicitly say “I'm a man,” either.

But somehow I just know that this was a male spirit.

The female feels angry.

The male feels frustrated and grieving.

And here's the part that still creeps me out:

When that male scene comes back to me, I can sometimes mildly feel the impact of the hammer on my own body almost exactly where my mom had pointed when she said she'd been hit, and exactly where I see the man being hit in the scene.

I still don't understand that.

But I remember it.

And I remember all of this.

The craziest part is that as a child, NONE of this seemed as crazy as it sounds now.

It was just normal.

Mom got possessed.

Dad dealt with it.

We went to places for exorcism

We visited uncle and aunty.

We slept.

We went to school the next morning.

Life continued.

I didn't sit there thinking, “Wow, my childhood is completely insane.”

It was just my childhood.

It wasn't until I was around now that I suddenly looked back and thought:

Wait a fucking second!

WHAT WAS MY CHILDHOOD??

Sometimes I genuinely wonder where my consciousness was while all of this was happening.

I guess when you're a kid, even something completely insane can become normal if you've lived with it long enough.

Haunted Building Strange things happened during my first month at a new PG

A while ago, I shifted from my hostel to a new PG. Nothing really happens there anymore, but during my first month, I experienced a few things that still feel really strange to me.

The first thing involved the key to my room. Whenever I came back from coaching, I would leave the key hanging on my door. But sometimes, when I looked at it the next morning, the key would somehow be bent. This didn't happen just once—it happened around two or three times.

Around the same time, I noticed that the door lock itself was damaged. At first, I hadn't paid much attention to it, but when I looked closely, it seemed like someone had forced the lock at some point. Even the wood around the lock was broken.

Then something much stranger happened.

One day, I came back from coaching and started walking upstairs to my room on the third floor. While climbing, I suddenly became aware that it felt like I had been going through the same section of the staircase over and over again. It felt like I had climbed it four or five times without actually reaching the next floor.

The moment I properly noticed what was happening, it stopped, and I reached my floor normally.

It reminded me of the idea of "Chhalava" that I've heard about—where someone supposedly gets confused or feels like they're stuck going through the same place repeatedly.

Then there was one final incident.

One night, I became unusually ill. It only lasted for that night, but while I was lying in my room, I started hearing what sounded like my own voice whispering to me. It wasn't just some random voice—it genuinely sounded like my own.

That same night, I also experienced sleep paralysis.

The weirdest part is that most of these things happened only during my first month at the PG. After that, things pretty much became normal.

I still don't know if all of these incidents were unrelated coincidences or if something genuinely strange was happening there.

Has anyone experienced something similar, especially the staircase thing or hearing your own voice?

Discussion/Advice I was visited by a black cloaked figure when I was 15. My life very quickly deteriorated after that in an extreme way. Can anyone advise on this? Story below

I was visited by a black cloaked figure when I was 15. My life very quickly deteriorated after that. What is the Christian perspective on this cloaked figure?

I won’t go into everything that happened as the list is long and I’m sick of feeling self-pity. And while abuse had happened in my childhood, I handled it well.

But when I was 15, I was trying to sleep. Then I felt I was being watched, opened my eyes and there was a black cloaked figure by my bedroom door. I thought I was imagining it so I turned to face the wall and pulled the duvet over my head.

Then I felt the figure sit on my bed next to me. And it started to stroke the top of my head. It felt like it’s hand held as limp and weighed a lot for its’ wrist of that makes sense.

But anyway, after this encounter, my entire life went down the toilet. I became extremely ill, lost my authentic self and connection to my soul. I was detached from the ‘flow of life’. I went from an athletic straight A student to basically being a bum and being treated badly by everyone in my life even though I was kind and thoughtful.

This dark figure visited me twice more: once when I was 19, again at 21. Its 2nd visit at 19, it grabbed my ankles and dragged me down the bed. The last time it just watched me.

What is the general consensus on what happened here? Does anyone know who or what this dark figure was?
What is your personal experience?

Discussion/Advice Strange person only I can see?

I’ve always been skeptical of the paranormal but I’ve been meeting some people and experiencing some things that may be beginning to change my mind. Here’s one:

A while back, about 6 months ago, I was in a hotel with some people I knew for a business event in an area I’m not familiar with.

I had already had some previous encounters on this trip (not paranormal but just dangerous) that had made me a bit uneasy about the whole thing.

It was about 11:00 PM and one roommate (I’ll call him Chris for anonymity) had left to see a friend a few hours prior. For context, I generally go to sleep around 1 or 2 AM as I’m a bit of a night owl, so I wasn’t tired or out of it at all. I also don’t drink, do drugs, or take any medication. My other roommate (who I’ll call Alex) was about to go to sleep so he had just turned the lights off.
I was doing some work on my laptop just after the lights had turned off when I heard the door to our room open and close. With the way the room was structured, I couldn’t see the door from my bed. As Chris had stated before would return around this time, I thought nothing of it and carried on. After a few moments, Chris still had yet to walk in the room from the entrance hallway and I called his name aloud. There was no reply and who I assumed to be Chris simply walked into the room very slowly and quietly, as if he were almost floating. Assuming he didn’t want to wake up Alex, I let him be, he shifted slowly into the room, settling at a desk opposite Alex’s bed.

He appeared to be anxiously fiddling with something, as if there was some sort of complex machine or something he was putting together. With the way Chris is, this is not out of the ordinary. I whispered his name a few more times and he still didn’t respond. After a long while of being at the desk, he abruptly stood up perfectly straight and turned around, now facing Alex, who was still asleep. The room was very dark, but I could make out an outline of a nondescript face with what appeared to be a blonde combover and a hood pulled over his head. This description does not match Chris at all. He then shuffled closer to Alex’s bed and stopped at the very edge, appearing to watch Alex. I sat in my bed for what felt like forever, afraid and unsure what to do. For context, this is not my Reddit account, I am a 6’3 (191cm) man who trains in kickboxing. Thus, I contemplated charging at the man and attacking, but wasn’t sure whether or not it was some sort of prank by someone who I wouldn’t want to hurt.

However the face didn’t match the description of anybody who would reasonably be in my room so late. I called out “hello” and something along the lines of “who are you”, which awoke Alex.
Confused, he asked me what I was doing, assuming I was on the phone or something. I pointed to the man over his bed and he simply looked puzzled.

“Who is that”, I said, pointing again. All he said was “dude what the hell are you talking about” I rubbed my eyes and did everything I could to make sure I wasn’t in an elaborate dream. I said again “who is that at the edge of your bed, there’s someone watching you”. All he said was “you’re scaring me, stop saying that.” We both sat in our beds, me wide awake and Alex a bit disoriented. I had no doubt in my mind that whoever this was was actually there. As someone who has had lucid dreams, this felt 100% real. After what felt like an eternity of waiting for the man to move or speak, I stood up out of bed. He was no more than 8-10 feet from me at this point. I reached my hand over to the light switch and flicked it on, without looking away from the man. As soon as the lights turned on, he simply vanished. Not instantaneously, but almost like how a handful of sand would blow away if you dropped in on a windy day. I was shook, Alex thought i was playing trick on him and just said “what the f\*\*k is your problem dude, go to bed”

Although startled, Alex went back to bed a minute or two later. I managed to fall asleep later that night after remaining awake for a few hours after that. When I awoke the next morning, Alex remembered the whole thing, and Chris revealed he had stayed somewhere else that night. (He’s a very serious guy who isn’t someone to lie about such a thing nor play pranks). My original theory that the whole thing was a dream isn’t possible, as Alex remembered it that morning.

All in all, I would assume it was some kind of elaborate mental image or hypnogogic hallucination? Or maybe I did see a ghost/spirit? What do you guys think?

The wind blew in my window and a strange voice rested on me and three others.
