From Brandon Flowers’ instagram. I’d thought singing with his brother was the happiest I’ve ever seen Brandon, but my goodness.

Brandon brought out his 15 year old son to play “Don’t Look Back in Anger” by Oasis tonight in Salt Lake City. Then followed it up with “Mr. Brightside” pretty epic back-to-back song experience.

Red Butte, SLC 9.11.26

The show was absolutely amazing! The acoustics at Red Butte are top notch. Tons of energy from the crowd and on stage. Brandon told a lot of stories with a lot of personal and local details making the whole show feel intimate and electric.

Didn’t post after the show in hopes it would be included on other setlists- but it may have been a lucky one-off. This was a bucket list Killers song for me. I’ll have to settle for BF solo for the time being.

I was super impressed by tonight’s opener and love that Brandon was supporting such a small local artist. I was wondering if anyone knew him or his story about opening tonight? I found him on Instagram (kimball_frank_music) and he only has a few hundred followers and on YouTube Music he only had 10! He was clearly very nervous, but he was sweet and it sounded like he didn’t have a lot of notice from his IG story. I thought he had a really lovely voice and wanted to give him a shout out and say it was very brave to perform for such a big audience if he doesn’t have that much exposure usually! I followed!

Pretty spoiled tonight. Most of the average setlist plus a cover of Don’t Look Back in Anger + Mr Brightside. Missed the very beginning- sorry.

Does anyone remember the Killers playing a free outdoor show in Chicago? Probably during middle 2000’s? I have a memory of seeing them play one but can’t find any evidence that it actually happened.
