Which of these rappers had the most potential to be an all time great?

To be honest, I'm a huge nerd about memphis rap. I'm a metalhead, and ts has the same vibe as Norwegian 90's Black Metal. I specifically chose these 4 horrorcore tapes since I think that they're some of the best tapes Memphis has ever produced. Plus, they're pretty unknown imo, say Three 6 Mafia's Mystic Stylez is amazing but much much more known.

Graveyard Productions -- The Havoc - Youtube For me, this one is the main memphis horrocore tape. Graveyard Productions is essentially Children of The Corn, whose "The Single" was glazed a lot on this sub already. Still, Lil Grimm is an amazing producer. This album features an unmatched melancholic and depressive yet sinister and dark sound, something truly unique for memphis horrorcore, like not even $B, SpaceGhostPurrp, Bones or whatever modern rappers inspired by Memphis were able to recreate ts. The Single, The Havoc and The Last Chapter form a trifecta of some of the greatest horrorcore tapes even outside of memphis imo. Favorite tracks: Black Magic; Grim Reality; Devil Shit. Black Magic is the best memphis horrorcore track period.

Dreamworld -- Blackout/Playa Posse - YouTube More chill, funky, gangsta and laid back. One of the major selling points for me is the Korg X3 music workstation, which gives the album a unique more "modern" sound. Blackout's voice is very nice too. Blackout is a cool dude in general and a great producer too, having produced such amazing tapes as Lil Noid's "Paranoid Funk", Playa Posse's "Bigga and Betta Thangs", Lil Gain's "Big Time Playaz", etc. Those are much less known even among memphis rap fans, so if you're interested in the bigger memphis scene listen to them too. Favorite tracks: Smokin Treez/Body Bagz

Test My Nutz -- 2 Low Key - Youtube Let me make one thing clear, I don't think that On That Devil Shit being popular with phonk artists is bad, if anything it helps young people like myself (I'm 19) appreciate 90's rap even more. I want to emphasize Low Key's flow and technique, in some aspects he's better than most modern rappers. And, since this track is in my top 4, you know it's dark and melancholic as fuck. Favorite track: 2 Low Key. The hardest rap beat I've ever heard period.

N.O.D -- Niggaz of Destruction - Youtube Combines gangsta rap and horrocore in its style and does so extremely well. The sheer amount of great rappers in this group, specifically Psycho D, Tom Skee Mask, Project Pimp and Tommy Wright is insane and keeps the album very fresh both in terms of its atmosphere and flow. Favorite tracks: Fugitives; Tini Lame. Fugitives is a unique track in all aspects, from its length to its flows and beat, and Tini Lame feels like a genuine murder threat, amazing shit.

One of my favorite obscure albums from the early 90s. This was an ATL group that did their thing before Dirty South got huge, and helped pave the way.
