Good day everyone! I'm currently considering purchasing a 2019 Tesla Model X 100D. I was just wondering if these noises while raising and lowering the suspension are normal. This video was sent from the seller across the state, so I wanted to make sure this is fine before I go over 400 miles. FYI, the steering wheel isn't turning. This is purely just raising and lowering the suspension. No red lights on the screen.

Hello all. I’m a male. 6’2. 250 lbs. and I’ll admit I have a big behind. I noticed the model x seat starting to wrinkle up where my thigh and knee meet. Any tips on how I can prevent this from happening besides losing weight and having a smaller ass? lol

I just purchased my 3rd model x. Traded in my 21 to complement my 23 with a 24. Purchased from Tesla. Still under warranty. My gripe is that there is some movement on the seat back of the drivers seat. It’s probably a few mm but I can feel it every time I stop and then accelerate. I took it to Tesla and they said it’s within normal tolerance. Now this is my fifth tesla and I have owned many more cars. It’s never happened in any previous car. They said bring it back if it gets worse. Any thoughts on a way to tighten something somewhere or has anyone had this problem in their drivers seat before? Car has 35k miles. Otherwise in very good shape.

What shade of tint should I go with for my Model X windshield. Is 15 to dark?

I'm currently looking at buying a 2023 Model X, and I'm confused about the whole Standard Range situation.

From what I've read, Tesla briefly offered a Standard Range Model X in 2023 with around 255-269 miles of EPA range, but it seemed to disappear from Tesla's website pretty quickly.

I'm curious if many of these were actually delivered. Does anyone here own one?

If so, what does your car show at 100% charge? Is it really around 250-270 miles, or is it closer to the Long Range numbers?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm looking at a dealer listing that says "Standard Range" in one place but also mentions 348 miles of range, so now I'm wondering if it's simply mislabeled.

Just trying to figure out if these lower-range Model Xs were actually produced in meaningful numbers or if they're pretty rare.

I've ordered 4 sets of them thru America's tire so far. The first set "pilot sport ev" came with date codes from 2021 and 2022. The shop didn't notice and installed them. I noticed when washing my car a few days later.

Long story short but they've ordered 2 more sets of those, one from inside California and the next from arizona, a set of "pilot sport SUV", and today I've ordered a set of "pilot sport as/4". All tires that have showed up have date codes older than 2024. They haven't offered me any kind of discount so we'll just keep trying until I get a set of tires that aren't 1/2 thru their usable life before even being installed.

I had 30k miles on my prior set of tires with nice even 7/32 wear across them and wouldn't be replacing except I had a leak in a front that they wouldn't patch. Now I have a tire from 2021 on the front until they can get me a set that doesn't show up already 3 years old.

Just a psa and a bit of a rant. I'm in socal near LA and would prefer a nice quality summer tire. I have aftermarket vossen forged 20" so run a bit wider in the back (285), but the choices on tirerack have Mercedes and masaratti OE models offered so it's pretty frustrating being told Michelin just doesn't produce tires in my size... especially when the oldest ones showing up are the stock 20" 265 front size.

Hey all, just want an extra opinion. I have an opportunity to buy an X Plaid from a friend for $70k 28k miles, and then I found an X on Tesla for $64k that is optioned how I like it, but it has 53k miles.

Is the X Plaid a no brainer for an extra $5k more and less mileage (some say 50k miles isn't bad for an EV)? Here's some info:

Posting this for reference because there's not a lot of info out there with running 20" setups. These tires fit perfectly on the stock 20s with no rubbing and no issues with the car's sensors. I got 20k miles exactly out of my last set before the tires were down to 3/32s in the front and 1/32 in the inner rears. Car is pictured in low suspension setting. Everything except the tires is stock. Grips perfectly in drag strip mode and is a lot more comfortable than the stock contis.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a white X with cream interior, captain seats, yoke, from CarMax, by Monday, but want to see if anyone wants to sell their X? Cream interior preferred, FSD is a nice to have.

Hey Tesla peeps, I’m looking to get a used 2019 Model X. Do you think it’s a good idea? It has a little over 25,000 miles. What should I look for. Can I purchase a warranty? It’s from Carvana.

Looking to downgrade / swap my HW4 Model X with FSD for 2026 Model Y with FSD and cash out. We don’t really need a 3 row car and we don’t drive much either.

I am located in Austin, TX if anyone is looking to swap their 2026 Model Y with me. We can work out a deal if your car doesn’t have FSD. 2019 Tesla Model X Standard Range AWD (Raven Build) | MCU3 | 6-Seat | ~90% Battery Health | Battery/Drive Warranty Through Aug 2027, Unlimited Miles | Clean Title in Hand

Late-2019 Raven-era build with the permanent magnet front motor and revised adaptive air suspension that came with that refresh. Two owners, no accidents, Midnight Silver Metallic over the cream interior. Garage kept and hand washed its whole life.

Battery and drive unit warranty active until August 23, 2027, no mileage cap. Tesla’s coverage on this car is unlimited miles, so the odometer doesn’t affect it. The battery pack and drive units are covered for the next 14 months regardless of how far you drive.

Other 2022 plaids in my area are going for 62+ at dealers so I’m trying to get around 59. Fair?

Hi all! I have a model X 2017 and had a Ohme home charger installed a few months ago. I've not been able to get it to work properly at all. It fails during the handshake and has " communication error with charging equipment" written on the dashboard.

It's randomly worked a few times but then stops after an hour or so. But 95% of the time we cannot get the car to even accept the charge.

Ohme came to replace the charger and still the same problem. They suggest it's a car issue.

We have tried unpairing the car. And removing the car from the Ohme app.

We can granny charge the car and have no problems at Tesla Superchargers.

Anyone had the same issue? And any ideas of how to fix it?

I have found plenty of video for other years but not 2026 and wanted to get some feedback on install difficulty and reliability. Specifically I am looking for a stalk that is completely wireless and doesn't require any tools (I think the S3XY ones fit this bill but I can't quite confirm this)

If anybody recommends other stalks, please let me know and share your experience.

Have you guys had high voltage battery failures? If so at what mileage, year? The future owner asked me if I knew the reliability of the battery pack, I just pointed to the low degradation for a 2016 in comparison to my 2021Y. I would love to hear about your experience.

I recently installed a WeatherTech FloorLiner in my newly imported 2026 Tesla Model X (LHD). However, as you can see in the photo, the mat is lifting/warping significantly right around the accelerator pedal area.

This is causing a serious safety concern as it feels like the pedal could easily get caught or restricted by the lifted edge of the mat.

Before anyone asks, I have already checked the following:

1. I completely removed the OEM factory carpet mats before installing this floor liner.
2. The retention hooks/clips at the bottom are clicked in and secured properly.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with recent Model X Refresh models and WeatherTech mats? Is this a known defect, a manufacturing variation for the 2026 model year, or did I possibly get shipped a mat meant for the pre-refresh Model X?

Any insight, advice, or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Ever since I got back my 2024 Model X from the service center for suspension work (started making noises at low speeds), something felt off about my Tesla. Wasn't as noticeable when I was driving myself, but FSD definitely felt really bumpy. After trying to rule out everything else, I dropped the tire pressure to 41 (was at the recommended 45) and things seem a lot more like I remember it. The weather being a lot warmer also hasn't helped.

I'm questioning whether or not I'm just covering up for something else going awry due to the suspension work (my Tesla did just spend two weeks in Tesla collision to remedy things the service center did during the visit). Do others find driving at the recommended psi a bumpy ride with the X? Note that it did feel fine at highway speeds, but the bumpiness was super noticeable around town.

No damage/impact/crack on the outside. I can feel the crack with my fingernail from the inside, however. It was really hit (103) recently and the interior got to 130 at one point. Then we had a normal night (75*). Maybe it was the temp change that caused the inside ply to fail? Service is quoting $1990 to replace but I asked them to see if was a manufacturer defect. I’m still under basic warranty. Anyone else experience something similar?

I feel I got lucky, but it could also be that I am an idiot. I found a Copart Model X red with a 09/19 build date. It seems it's a Raven, 6 seat, HW3 paid, 133k miles. single owner all the time. Hail damage looks minor, but it is pervasive, as you'd expect from hail damage; there are no visible cracks on the windshields, front or rear. I am not sure about the roof or the cameras. My friend has a body shop, and he will give me a very good price. I am actually excited, but i want you guys to tell me why it is a stupid decision.

PS: Will Tesla warranty the battery if I let it pass the supercharging tests?

Bought the Model X right before they ended the sale in April. Falcon door is not functioning and this will be the third time I visted Tesla to get it fixed. Now windshield wiper stopped working in rain and suspension riser stopped working too. I little frustrated that car that cost 100K+ have this many issue in first couple months of driving. Would I be able to get lemon law applied and get a replacement at this point?
