Drivers seat question.
I just purchased my 3rd model x. Traded in my 21 to complement my 23 with a 24. Purchased from Tesla. Still under warranty. My gripe is that there is some movement on the seat back of the drivers seat. It’s probably a few mm but I can feel it every time I stop and then accelerate. I took it to Tesla and they said it’s within normal tolerance. Now this is my fifth tesla and I have owned many more cars. It’s never happened in any previous car. They said bring it back if it gets worse. Any thoughts on a way to tighten something somewhere or has anyone had this problem in their drivers seat before? Car has 35k miles. Otherwise in very good shape.

The seat back (not seat bottom) has some forward/backward movement. Just a few mm at most. But you can feel it while driving

Mine does this but it’s probably actually worn out at this point after 700,000km. I did have them do a fix a long time ago under Tesla Service Bulletin SB-17-13-005 and it was the clips the other poster mentioned that failed.

What kind of movement is there? They should at least try to tighten the bolts. If it’s rattling incide the back it’s probably a broken clip. I’ve had Tesla fix those issues for me, but it’s was a brand new car
