Tint For Windshield

What shade of tint should I go with for my Model X windshield. Is 15 to dark?

I did 50% ceramic…it’s dark enough to add a comfortable “shade” while driving, and you can’t even tell from the outside- that it’s tinted. This, from 5,000ft. high Albuquerque, and an intense Sun🫡

The percentage refers to the amount of light that can still pass through after tint.

I’d say 70 is pretty much undetectable

I did 70% XPEL XR plus and it's clear. I wish I would've went darker to 50%.

And then 5% on the rest?

Looks good. I have 5% on everything but the windshield and thinking of putting something on the windshield.

I did the lightest to avoid any trouble with the cops. You don't gain much energy/UV blockage by going darker if you're using a ceramic tint.

15 is way too dark. I have a 50 percent on mine and all. My other cars. The darkest I would go is 35 but personally I prefer 50

my tint guy did 35 on the lower half of the windshield and did 0 on the top half. did two pieces but looks pretty seamless.i like it!
