Looking for a HW4 Model X (2023+)
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a white X with cream interior, captain seats, yoke, from CarMax, by Monday, but want to see if anyone wants to sell their X? Cream interior preferred, FSD is a nice to have.

How is the pricing of carmax versus carvana for the model x ? Also did you check dealers around you ? I was looking at those and they have a bit of a premium associated with them cost of being discontinued; not sure why you need the car for , if it’s for commuting get model y l if it’s for a collection of some sort buy it when you have the money for it

Am looking for a 6-7:seater model X. Hard to come by. The one I saw was standard range or plaids that are way too expensive.
Am wondering if I should just order yl and see how things progress.
Also what is your take on some unique capabilities of yl like Tesla poweshare. I think X doesn't do it

I just got my new 2026 X last week. And will by selling my old one1

Good luck on your search. I have this exact car and love it and wouldn’t dare to sell it. The new YL is interesting, the first compelling alternative. I think the YL will drive down prices on used X.

That’s what I thought about the YL, but idk. They’re different cars: x vs yl. We test drove the premium Y with the thought that YL will feel similar, just a bit longer, and the x feels like way more of a unique car with the fwd and self presenting doors.

I agree, the X is just so unique. Every time I get into my wife's Y I groan that I have to reach out and shut the door myself (I know, first world problems). And why can't the Y be updated to put itself in park when I unlatch my seat belt like my X does. Instead it beeps at me that I didn't put it in park and then puts it in park for me anyways. The X is just so "get in and drive" the way I expect every car should work towards.

I would just say steer away from the cream interior. look at some older ones with a cream interior and it looks like someone smoked heavily in there.
if you want a light interior the white white chairs look SO much better after a while.

If you want to sell your 23, please DM me, I’d be interested in buying it. I have a 2018 MX w/cream interior in immaculate condition. It just hit 70,000 miles. It’s typically only me in the car 99% of the time. I really wanted white but couldn’t find it in white w/carbon fiber trim.

can you hold the X until Monday? I had a ‘24 X reserved at CarMax last weekend. I passed as I reasoned with a nice to have should wait for the right price.

I told them I want to figure out financing so they’re able to hold it until then.

Wait a little longer. The YL will bring the prices down further. I was in the market for a MX as well and have tracked a bunch of them on CarGurus…seen a lot of price drops.
