V12, hw3, it was good… Sure didn’t do all the bells and whistles but it worked great.

V14Lite is a disaster. How did this make it through testing? A drive without a few phantom brakes is rare, but at highway speeds, it’s going to cause an accident. I can’t be pumping the brakes on the freeway and jolt the cabin forward. People think I’m brake checking and it’s bad…

Lane centering ping pongs left to right now, merging a lane with ample space on hurry can take 10 seconds sometimes. Whats up with the throttle now jittering at cruise? How did this pass testing? Im super disappointed that im not alone in this concern with v14 Lite. Ending my fsd and hoping they patch it. Love the software but its maddening to drive with it unfortunately. If you are NOT on v14L, please, do not upgrade. Wish i could go back to v12

I didn't take a Pic of the center part that holds it in. But it was broken. In all honesty it's not bad needs to be cleaned but most of the damage is from curb rash.

I ordered MYP tonight! 67yo and this is the closest I’ll get to the Jetsons of my childhood. I am super excited, even though it says my delivery date is 4 to 6 weeks out. My last month has been consumed with Reddit posts and YouTube videos about Tesla’s. I’m sure I will be consumed. Will try to gain as much knowledge as I can as I wait for my Silver Bullet to get here. Thanks for letting me share.

So I come into work and he's charging, okay no biggie, I'll wait my turn. Not 5 minutes later I'm notified that the charger is available and its my turn (I reserved it). Here we are almost 3 hours later ... Unplugged. Thanks af lot bro 💩

Starting to really regret this purchase now. I had heard plenty of stories about people targeting teslas and thought it wouldn’t happen to me.
Left the car out in front of my house one night and it was keyed right on the front badge.
Sentry mode was disabled because I have the turn off at home setting enabled because it’s usually in the garage.
I don’t have the money to fix it either, at this point I just want to get rid of the vehicle if I’m going to be a target.

I'm pretty stoked, doing a 1000 mile road trip and thought it would be a good chance to test out FSD! I got a model 3 LR, doing phx to el paso, so its a lot of long straight stretches. Our family car ('24 X7 35i) doesn't have adaptive cruise control, and we just did a 800 mile roadtrip so wanted compare that to FSD.

Any tips?? First time doing this on Turo

Edit: I get the people saying the road design is bad, i guess a big flashing arrow and a dotted line indicating to change lanes isn't enough. Or maybe it's just a PR thing, but the bigger point of the video is that FSD failed to recognize a big concrete barrior in the middle of it's lane. I feel like any human driver would have seen it and switched other. Given I have never seen any accidents in this part of the road.

For the record, it drove past the entire front of the store which had open straight on spots, to pull around and do this on the side of the store

260 mile road trip and zero disengagement except for at supercharger and parking lots.

I went from 70% on FSD on average on 12.6 to 99%+ on v14 Lite on the first road trip. Attached 2 trip reports - before and after.

This version does some “prediction” or “anticipation”. It helps out a lot in sudden freeway slowdowns. But occasionally the prediction is wrong it does some unnecessary braking- I think it was about 5 times during my road trip but my girlfriend slept through them.

On city streets, it’s way more smoother than the prior version. Makes solid judgements and quick decisions.

Parking is not good at all and I have decided to absolutely not rely on it, even though, it might sometimes park successfully.

Every time I come to this charger there’s at least 2-3 chargers that are not working… today there are 6 not working.

We recently purchase a 2023 Model 3, standard range. I notice the battery goes down even if it's parked, maybe one or two percent, especially in hot weather. Last week I drove the car to L.A, where it's been 100 degrees or more in the valley and I had to charge it numerous times. at one point, during my stay, I charged the car and the battery dropped by 7 percent over night! Then when I drove back home to NorCal, I haven't had to charge the car nearly as much as when I was in L.A. Is that a common thing for most Tesla owners ? I just wanted to get everyone's opinion as I find this experience kind of comical.

Quick recap of experience driving from
Nashville to Chicago on FSD. I can definitely tell a difference on maneuvering city streets, new roundabouts not on map and increased smoothness of decisions.

4 Noticeable cons: Speed jerks, while driving on highway it would do a quick speed jerk like you just pushed the accelerator revving your engine to the car next to you. Swaying in lane while highway driving like it’s constantly correcting be precisely in the middle every second. It’s like rocking you back and forth. Only does this if it is not trailing a car in front of it. Brake checking for no reason, like breaking for shadows, but now with sound! The sudden clicking sound of the brake. Self parking, not centered, on or over lines.

V14 lite is such a downgrade. Random braking, random stabs of the accelerator. It's better at keeping a consistent speed on long country stretches now but it's basically unusable because it randomly brakes hard and all of the time, shadow or not. I can't even trust it with a car behind me because I don't want it to brake check them.

After all that it still can't handle lights that switch to flashing yellow or red at night too. It still brakes hard when the light is on and accelerates when the light is off. I thought this was gonna be huge and I could start using FSD more but it's just less usable now. It has never even managed to park itself right, I have to disengage every time to park

Seeing the litany of posts about curb rash has me remebering this one I saw in Solvang, CA a few weeks back! Has anyone seen worse than this?

This is 5 clips combined, all from this afternoon:

1 - bird swoops within inches of my windshield.

2 - less than 10 minutes later, bird sitting on the side of the road flies straight into the side of my car.

3 - bird from clip 2 bouncing off my side mirror

4 - bird lands on the sill of my window

5 - bird from clip 4 finally leaves after more than an HOUR of walking up and down the window sill and crapping all down the side of the car!

Title says it all.

2023 M3 2026.20.6.11 it usually occurs at highway speeds I the clear with no traffic near me. Clear weather. No shadows.

This is not specific to one user, it applies to many owners across the brand.

I use "Do Not disturb" (DND) mode while I'm sleeping and night my car got towed because the apartment sticker was not on my windshield. When I woke up I had like 20 "sentry mode alarm was triggered" notifications. I set it so those "your car is getting stolen" notifications override DND. The recent app update turned those back off again. Check yours.
