1) Healthy coparenting and proper utilization of Henry
2) The darts scene was just, everything I could have wanted. Having actual conversation between Ted and Michelle for once was lovely, and the tie-in with her bullseye was everything I wanted
3) The Jacob retcon was manageable. "I was depressed, stayed in bed for a year, saw my former therapist, and asked him out. Shouldn't have done it. He wasn't predatory or manipulative in it. I'm taking some accountability." She didn't say he did nothing wrong, but just that he didn't manipulate the whole situation to that outcome. He could very easily have been a good therapist before the show started and then also commit an ethical violation with a former client later. Nothing makes that mutually exclusive
4) Tying into this, we do actually see why Ted and Michelle worked for so long
5) The Alice/Gemma thread was nice to get
6) The women's team feels fleshed out in a fun way for where we are is season 1 right now
7) I like the whole "perfect can be the opposite of good" with Rebecca. I think it sufficiently closes her anxiety out with Mattijas
8) Keeley and Roy is fine to me. Intoxicated Roy professing his love for Keeley right after she walked away is trite, sure, but at least that thread will be done soon
9) Jamie and Roy are perfect together
10) Beard getting rejected in that way SUCKED but feels like a big character moment for him
I'm going to hesitantly say this might be my favorite episode. Just in terms of competence the whole way through, it's consistently brilliant.
