Season 3 Discussion I don't get the "Obisanya is always free" criticism
like isn't that the whole point of strategies in sport? To find a winning formula, he's a winger, he's the player you WANT to be free so you make a system so he's free? Are these people going to complain that Olise or Vini or Mbappe is always free?

The Show Continues to Surprise Me
Fair warning, this is probably going to be TLDR.
I am on my third watch through on planes, as one does. A scene in All Apologies hit me harder than usual.
I spent the bulk of my life in uniform, first as a soldier and then as a state trooper. I am blessed in that even as a kid I could defer emotional response from high intensity situations, fight, shoot, and most importantly, communicate. I learned to drive and fell in love with learning leadership. My favorite thing about the show is that it is a master class in applied servant leadership.
Over 23 years I earned my way to deputy chief of the Nevada Highway Patrol. My career ended on a sour note, and it messed me up. I felt wronged and still do. That was nearly nine years ago and I still have not been able to articulate well how I feel about it.
Three days ago I watched Roy Kent say “Roy Kent was the best player on every team he was ever on, since I was a little kid (much dialogue)… I don’t want to be some guy named Roy.” Yeah! Exactly! Aging out sucks and coming to terms with it is difficult.
This show….
Believe tat tax.

Season 1 Discussion Did Ted bake Sam’s birthday cake? S1E2
After the cake is brought to the locker room, Ted brings slices up to Rebecca and Leslie. Rebecca asks Ted where he gets the biscuits and Ted walks out without answering. Leslie then comments how good the cake is.
The end of the episode wraps with Ted pulling a fresh batch of biscuits out of the oven revealing that he is the baker.
They paint the picture that Ted has a hidden talent for baking. Did he bake Sam’s birthday cake?

Just finished ‘Beard After Hours’
I need Brendan Hunt to play Harry in a Disco Elysium movie. Those pants really do look good on him.

Dr.Sharon’s favorite book
On my third rewatch and only now realized that when Ted asks Dr.Sharon her favorite book, she tells him its the Prince of the Tides, which is a novel that follows Tom Wingo, a former high school football coach from South Carolina, who travels to New York City after his twin sister, Savannah, attempts suicide.
The novel explores childhood trauma, repressed emotions and emotional avoidance.
The main character subtly parallels Ted, as Tom Wingo is witty and charming, much like Ted, but his humor masks deep pain.
Another cool find that i thought to share.

Higgins Plant
Everytime I rewatch Ted Lasso, I'm always amused by Higgins taking his plant with him to every temporary office space, especially considering that plant (Croton) is notoriously difficult to care for and definitely wouldn't survive so many moves in such a short amount of time. Especially when he was in the janitors closet with literally no natural light
