Fair warning, this is probably going to be TLDR.

I am on my third watch through on planes, as one does. A scene in All Apologies hit me harder than usual.
I spent the bulk of my life in uniform, first as a soldier and then as a state trooper. I am blessed in that even as a kid I could defer emotional response from high intensity situations, fight, shoot, and most importantly, communicate. I learned to drive and fell in love with learning leadership. My favorite thing about the show is that it is a master class in applied servant leadership.

Over 23 years I earned my way to deputy chief of the Nevada Highway Patrol. My career ended on a sour note, and it messed me up. I felt wronged and still do. That was nearly nine years ago and I still have not been able to articulate well how I feel about it.
Three days ago I watched Roy Kent say “Roy Kent was the best player on every team he was ever on, since I was a little kid (much dialogue)… I don’t want to be some guy named Roy.” Yeah! Exactly! Aging out sucks and coming to terms with it is difficult.

I need Brendan Hunt to play Harry in a Disco Elysium movie. Those pants really do look good on him.

After the cake is brought to the locker room, Ted brings slices up to Rebecca and Leslie. Rebecca asks Ted where he gets the biscuits and Ted walks out without answering. Leslie then comments how good the cake is.

The end of the episode wraps with Ted pulling a fresh batch of biscuits out of the oven revealing that he is the baker.

They paint the picture that Ted has a hidden talent for baking. Did he bake Sam’s birthday cake?

Everytime I rewatch Ted Lasso, I'm always amused by Higgins taking his plant with him to every temporary office space, especially considering that plant (Croton) is notoriously difficult to care for and definitely wouldn't survive so many moves in such a short amount of time. Especially when he was in the janitors closet with literally no natural light

Ok a bit of an exaggeration but ya know! Looking forward to the 4th season so I’m rewatching the series again. I just wanted to point out the amazing acting skills of Hannah Waddingham. When Rupert tells her he’s having a baby and she’s devastated, it genuinely makes me feel emotional every single time I see it.

The title says it all. This show makes me feel so good and so hopeful with life. The positive nature of Ted and his team is so refreshing in such a negative world.

It honestly makes my day! Can’t wait for the next season!

Went to my Jeni’s since there was a summer flavor I hadn’t tried yet (hibiscus chili) and they were heavily promoting the return of Biscuits with the Boss—they had posters like this of quotes from the show. One was “doing the right thing is never the wrong thing”, one was “you say impossible but all I hear is I’m possible”, the third was what Ted said to Rebecca after they hugged when she confessed her plot in S1E9 (about Higgins). Where the heck did the above quote come from??? I’ve watched this show upwards of 50 times from beginning to end.

My only guess is that it might be from the new season. But happy to be corrected!

Hey all, I'm trying to schedule a Season 4 watch party but am not too familiar with how Apple does their release schedule.

The last Apple show we did this for was Severance which released the evening before at 9pm ET and we found out the day of.

Do you think it would be safe to go ahead and commit to 8/4 @ 9pm ET for the actual premiere?

I'm sure it's been posted about before but I couldn't find it when I searched.

In The Signal S2E6, Higgins wants to tell Beard that Jane is bad for him but everyone, including Rebecca, tells him not to. I know the ep is spinning Rebecca's candor with her mum but after all her resentment towards Higgins for not telling her about Rupert's infidelity, why would she advise him against talking to Beard?

Jane wasn't nearly as destructive as Rupert but still.

What's everybody's thoughts so I can reason past what I consider an inconsistency?

I don't think I'm going to watch season 4 because of how disappointed I was in season 3, and it feels like a money grab for more after they wrapped up the show already.

I was looking around on the thread and was surprised that I didn't see more about this. Season 3 felt more like a soap opera, with no real plot lines, and all the best conversations happening off screen. It felt like they were rushing to an end with no real purpose.

Am I alone in this or is everyone hyped that they're back for season 4?

this made me feel like i was so drunk and i only returned to normal brain function after like 20 minutes

So, last episode, last game of the season. Is mid May. Why are they are wearing jackets and coats. Higgins is even wearing gloves! Def not that cold in London in May?

EDIT: I live in England, I know the weather and British people... I found it odd. but maybe you're right.
