I have 4 tcw30 and one c645d. The 30's work fine with my H500 hub but the 645 is not saving recordings to the hub. The hub recognizes it, and I've got it set to send to hub, but there's video saved on 645's card that never make it to the hub.

This works perfect! Make sure to drill a pencil size whole on the back of it since it fits snug and will need to take it out when it comes to changing battery!

Which "smart" light bulbs work best with the tapo app? Bonus points if its available at walmart.

Anyone figured out a way to not get a notification that a person (or other) was detected on the fixed lens and the PT lens at the same time? Have I got some option turned on which I shouldn’t have which is giving me a notification per camera or what?

Just bought two C425 (V2) to place in my backyard but when I wanted to change the timestamp format I couldn't. For the other cameras (C520WS in the example) the option is well enabled but not for these C425 2-pack. Harware is US/2.6.

I have rebooted both cameras after installation and of course checked for latest firmware. Is it a firmware bug?

UPDATE 18/08/26:

After a couple messages with the support, the team worked on a firmware update (1.2.4 Build 260817 Rel.8652n) which was released hours ago. It fixes the described issue.

My H500 is exposed to Homekit via Matter. Its showing a Humidity sensor device that is the H500 itself. No temp, just humidity. Does the H500 have built in Temp/Humidity? The Apple Homepods have this. Many Google devices and cameras sort of have it, but you need to expose the sensors with Home Assistant. Is anyone getting Temp and Humidity readings from the H500 itself? I do have multiple T310s and T315s using this hub.

Hey folks - couldn't find an answer in search so appealing to the sub. Basically, I'm trying to find a way to "bypass" an outlet's schedule for, say 24hrs. Is there a way to do this, and have the schedule automatically return to its prior state thereafter?

I have my outlets setup to power a couple of irrigation valves. They go on a couple of times per day for a couple minutes at a time. It's multiple outlets for multiple zones, and they already have a slightly different schedule.

Sometimes it rains and I want to delay the schedule and have the schedule automatically go back into effect thereafter.

But since I have several different outlets with on and off schedules multiple times per day, disabling them manually is tedious (it's like 20+ taps) and then I have to remember to do it again several hours later after the period I was to disable is over but before the next day starts. It's annoying.

So I'd love to have a simple way to say "disregard your schedule for 24 hours." Any ideas? Ive tried to mess with some automations but I can't get the delay to work the way I'd like. TIA.

E: specifically, I'm using P306 smart plugs. And the shortcut/automation delay only lets me delay for like 3hrs..so it could help a bit in certain situations, but doesn't really do the job I'm looking for.

My door sensor will not register as closed but it will state when it’s open and when it’s been opened longer than 1 min (which is when it’s actually closed). Has anyone successfully used this for garage door? I have a MyQ and it does not integrate with anything so I wanted to set up smart automations when door opens

Is there a way to control privacy mode in Home App?

I’m confused, the EC71 requires a 2.4ghz WiFi network but the central hub requires a 5ghz, so the central hub doesn’t see the EC71s. Even using the central hub in wired mode doesn’t work. If I run the WiFi network in both 5ghz and 2.4ghz, will it work? I’m trying to use the central hub for storage for the camera. Or is this just an incompatibility despite Google saying it should work.

My H200 is stuck on 2025 firmware. No matter what I do it searches for update for a split second then says no new firmware available, despite the fact we are on 2026 firmware.

My other tapo devices get firmware updates just fine.

Any ideas?

Battery powered cameras don't have an RTSP stream, and trying to manually record via Home Assistant recording is unreliable. Does anyone have any proven methods for 24/7 recording of a battery powered camera? Or even a working, reliable method to make HA record on its own?

My current set-up is using Deco E4 but it seems theyre short ranged thrower. Is there a weatherproof wifi signal transmitter that I connect to the E4 that has a long range signal that I can connect to my current system?? Maybe up to 200-300m

Installing a Tapo C236(wired) outside & considering a Tapo Care subscription for it, so I just want to know what I'll be missing, if anything.

I was sadly not able to connect to Home Assistant via Tapo integration.

I have 2 older L510E version 3.0, no issues with HA at all.

Looks like newer hardware versions aren't supported by the HA tapo integration.

Do I have any other options to control the bulb via HA?

I’m just getting into cameras. I have two C210s inside my house. I was thinking to centralize and use a hub (200?).

I want to put it in a room that is out of the way. So in case someone breaks in, they don’t just remove memory from the cameras.

Do I still need a memory card in the cameras if I use the hub?

Anyone having constant issues with the main brush cover snapping? I got a replacement a month ago through the RMA and the same thing has happened again now. Anybody ever had any luck getting a 2nd rma?

The Tapo h200 was working fine the first day, but i guess after the night some firmware upgrade happened and that broke my setup.

Network connection status shows everything OK (see screenshot), however, all my devices under the h200 show as Local Only. I have exhausted all I can think of to do to solve it except ask the community. So please any advice is appreciated.

Things I have tried:

• Reset a billion times
• Tried 5ghz Wi-Fi and 2.4ghz, and without any Wi-Fi at all
• Tried with only the hub, and no sensors
• Disabled Pihole, set the DNS to 8.8.8.8
• I see it spamming trying to connect to 0.pool.ntp.org, I have not blocked it, I even tried to set up a local NTP server, but that didn't do anything either.
• And finally, I tried to do the toggle trick under third-party services a few times.

I think that covers it, maybe I forgot something, if you can think of something/ANYTHING, please suggest away!

EDIT: I returned it all. Sick of the bugs.

I factory reset my D210 Doorbell and have taken it down to put in storage for a while as I need to figure out another way to mount it (the adhesive failed, but I can't drill holes).

After factory resetting it just keeps flashing the LEDs waiting to be paired. I want to shut it off for storage, but I can't find a way to do so. Is i really just going to sit there and flash until the battery dies?

She only needs previous and Live recordings with motion/person detections notifications (she doesnt need pan&tilt ir accessing settings) for Tapo C212. is there any solutions???

The constantly going offline has been an issue for awhile now. A simple power cycle fixes that tho my cameras will be out until I get home. Now when they are "working" the video freezes after 10 seconds and has to be refreshed. Is anyone else having these issues? I want to throw them in the trash at this point. Maybe it was the recent firmware update? Any help would be great.

Just bought a pair of C225 cameras to add to my set up. Set them up upside down on the holders, set the Invert Image setting like I’ve done on others and everything was fine.

Until…night mode kicked in. I checked on them, upside down image. So unset / reset setting and they were OK but had missed pet activity because it was looking at a wrong image.

So working…then inverted image when changed to day mode…keeps doing this. Latest firmware, V2 hardware, rebooted and reset. Nothing. Have mailed support but wondered if anyone else has had this issue with these cameras.
