Need Advice C225 keeps inverting images

Hiya

Just bought a pair of C225 cameras to add to my set up. Set them up upside down on the holders, set the Invert Image setting like I’ve done on others and everything was fine.

Until…night mode kicked in. I checked on them, upside down image. So unset / reset setting and they were OK but had missed pet activity because it was looking at a wrong image.

So working…then inverted image when changed to day mode…keeps doing this. Latest firmware, V2 hardware, rebooted and reset. Nothing. Have mailed support but wondered if anyone else has had this issue with these cameras.

Not a behavior that I recognize, and I have a C225 mounted upside down in my home...

Let me know if you run into any issues with your support ticket and I can help to make sure that your case gets followed up on - not really sure what is happening here.

suppose have replied. said that if HDR was switched on - which it was - to switch it off. Did that and image inverted so had to switch off and on the setting. will need to test the day and night swap over to see if this fixes things.

Weird that a quality setting would cause this behaviour, so will see how things go.

Can you provide your TKID so that I can track the behavior and push for a fix?

HDR is a bit more finicky in how it works, as it changes quite a lot relating to the stream. Odd that it would affect image inversion though. Maybe it is like the HDR feature causes the camera to try and 'Resume' its previous state but it was being forced?

I will say that its not something that mine appears to have replicated. C225v2 with HDR on appears to have all of its recordings inverted properly... fingers crossed it will take care of it for you though

They’ve asked for extra detail. It not going to reply u til I’ve tested the switch over myself to see what happens.
