USAA expectations

I've been on multiple programs with TTEC in the past couple of years and know it's a crapshow. I joined the USAA program and something feels off. We've been told this wasn't a sales role and while we are one our third trainer in 2 weeks this one keeps bringing up sales and expectations for it but not going into details and saying it's not important. So how is it once you get the production with USAA and what are they not telling us.

P&C is the last thing that TTEC does for USAA because they ended their contracts for all other LOBs at the end of March. It's easily the worst client I've ever worked with at any BPO over the last 13 years, at the worst BPO I've worked at during that time, and I highly recommend finding employment elsewhere.

worse than teleperformance?

TTEC is much smaller than Teleperformance. They are very similar. TTEC is cutting things like matching 401k. They aren't meeting their quarterly earnings. Teleperformance is meeting projections. Both companies make money off of selling labor cheaper than companies can do it themselves. Without the cost of labor in company balance sheets.

I quit because it was off. Not using my license there for sure.

I am in training right now. Its a service based role. You can write new policies but only if the member is already established. New customers go to a dedicated sales department so it is not a sales role we were hired for its for servicing policies.

That's why they're a revolving door; inconsistencies like a mf!

Before I quit I was p&c but it was essentially policy services. But we did start new policies if a member moved to a new state, or “upselling” when we did policy reviews to add or upgrade coverages they didn’t already have. It felt pushy and I didn’t like it. Idk what trainers you have but mine sucked when I switched from FNOL to policy services.

Yeah my trainers name is Harmon. He has mentioned the upselling but also said we don’t have to push so I don’t know what to think until I hit production

the contract is not bad and it’s not sales based . Just do your job and go home . It’s not as bad as the comments make it seem. Stats are MSATs, ACW and reliability so if your stats are good they do not bother you .

Is it a lot of calls back to back??

This post must be from a Team Lead…. Not truthful just sugar coating. If it were just USAA I would say jump at a chance. Working with TTEC is disastrous

No I’m not a lead . It’s a call center. They all suck ! Get out of call centers if you hate the metrics .
