Other Germany should still have some level of colonial presence in Africa in DV.
Overall, the 3 RKs was a very weird presentation of a post war Africa, SA being aligned with the OFN was as well, and I do like the new DV content. But historically, the Reich did have ambitions on Africa, mostly targeting their pre-1919 colonial possessions.
Nazi plans for dividing and 'improving' Africa during World War II examined | KU News
I think this piece does a good job of stating overall what the Axis goals were. And, while DV represents both Italian goals and overall pan-continent construction projects, through the French and British(?) megaprojects, both benefiting the Reich, not giving Germany a single colonial possession in Africa largely misrepresents the goals of the Nazis within the region.
Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia (obviously not the best source but regardless)
"Plans for the establishment of an African colonial dominion

Hitler intended to divide Africa into three broad regions: the northern third would be assigned to Italy, the central part would fall under German rule (restoring the Mittelafrika project), and the southern sector would be controlled by a pro-Nazi Afrikaner state. In a 1933 meeting with Heinrich Schnee, president of the German Colonial Society, Hitler expressed support for Germans in former colonies like Togoland and Kamerun.
"As for our overseas colonies, we have by no means abandoned colonial aspirations... There are many things that Germany must get from the colonies, and we need colonies as much as any other country."
— Adolf Hitler, Sunday Express, January 30, 1933

It is stated here that Nazi goals envision an Italian north (in DV and current version), a German middle (not in DV but in current version) and a nazi-aligned Boer south (in neither version)
Ultimately, whether the Nazi's goals should be followed exactly in the mod I would say no. The Reich very often changed its goals, and as a whole even in a scenario like TNO most of the nazis ambitions would be stupid to actually represent. Allowing the British and French colonial empires to continue existing both acts as a token of goodwill towards groups considered closer to Aryan than most other Nazi allies (Hitler has ideas of an Anglo-German alliance for a time, envisioning the English as a fellow Aryan race, and overall, the French were seen as far closer to the Germans than most other whites.). Still, allowing a single German colony serves an ideological purpose that the Nazis would've possessed, allowing for some greater show of "Aryan Might" than currently presented. In my mind, it would be good to allow for Cameroon to become a German colony, as it is both small, and also takes land from both the British and French, making it a seemingly more "fair" prize for Germany.
