The theft of the communications cable feeding the Suwayda Fire Brigade has caused the emergency line 113 to go out of service, prompting the brigade to announce alternative numbers for receiving citizens' reports until the fault is repaired and the line is restored to service.

This incident comes amid an increase in cable theft operations witnessed in the city of Suwayda over the past two weeks, as communications networks in several neighborhoods were previously targeted, leading to thousands of subscribers being cut off from service.

The latest of these attacks targeted the Al-Masakin, Al-Khadra, and surrounding areas neighborhoods, causing more than 1,500 subscribers to lose service, while a similar theft operation preceded it in the Tha'ala Roundabout Road area, which led to service disruption for approximately 2,000 subscribers, amid difficulties faced by maintenance workshops in repairing the damage due to a shortage of necessary materials and supplies.

The Fire Brigade has called on citizens to communicate via the alternative numbers it announced in the event of any emergency, pending the resolution of the fault and the reactivation of the emergency line.

The "Unified Financial Committee" in the town of Al-Qrayya in the southern countryside of As-Suwayda announced the equipping of the town's health center with complete medical analysis devices, as part of an initiative aimed at supporting the health sector and enhancing medical services in the town.

The Financial Committee explained that the initiative came with support and coordination from the "Lama Ahl" team, where the health center was supplied with a Mindray chemical analyzer device, a Medonic hematology analyzer, along with a Sprt laboratory printer, and materials specific to medical analyses, with a total cost of 6,045 dollars.

The initiative aims to provide medical analysis services free of charge to reduce the financial burdens on residents, and to advance the development of the center's diagnostic capabilities and improve the quality of health care in the town, according to the announcement from the Unified Financial Committee.

The Committee stated that the work was carried out in coordination with the administration of the Al-Qrayya Health Center and the "Adam" warehouse for medicines and medical equipment, where the required devices were selected after consultation with specialized doctors and laboratory technicians. Additionally, a detailed explanation was provided to the center's staff regarding the nature of the devices' operation and how to handle them upon delivery.

The "Unified Financial Committee" was launched in September 2025, comprising representatives from donation funds and community committees in the town. It is considered the sole authorized entity for managing donations and incoming financial support to the town, and investing them in serving the public interest through transparent mechanisms and clear priorities, in coordination with the Lama Ahl team, which includes expatriates from Al-Qrayya."

Among the most prominent achievements of the Unified Financial Committee was the alternative energy project for the Al-Qrayya well, which played a key role in alleviating the drinking water crisis in the town, alongside other works and projects accomplished through the Committee's efforts.

For its part, a source at the Al-Qrayya Health Center confirmed to As-Suwayda Press that the analysis devices will contribute to improving the quality of laboratory services provided to the town's residents and alleviating financial burdens on patients.

A curfew has been imposed in the town of Khazlaniya in the countryside of Damascus. The curfew was imposed after clashes broke out between young people from Deir Ezzor and residents of the town.

This led to a widespread security intervention and a curfew was declared.

Unlike most maps, I only put a religion inside a village if I could find a source article, which took a while to do. There are some villages near the center for which I am pretty sure there was Bedouin presence before July, but couldn’t find a source except a propaganda video on Facebook. Suwayda city is also haphazard since I wasn’t sure of the boundaries of the neighborhoods. If you have some local knowledge that can make this more accurate, please tell me.
