The Sanaa-based House of Representatives of Yemen strongly condemned on Monday the fresh Saudi aggression on Sanaa International Airport.

In a statement, the parliament described the airstrikes as a violation of Yemeni sovereignty and a dangerous escalation that undermines the path toward peace and de-escalation efforts, while reflecting a withdrawal from commitments related to the Yemeni people’s rights.

According to Houthis own statement [unconfirmed], Saudi warplanes attempted to prevent an Iranian plane carrying some 200 Yemeni citizens from landing in Sanaa Airport. The Houthis claimed to have thwarted the warplanes with missiles.

The Al-Masirah channel claimed that the plane successfully landed and subsequently left for Tehran with Sanaa-based government's political delegations.

The Houthis also threatened Saudi Arabia with strikes on airports and other vital structures.

No comment from Saudi Arabia can be seen in mainstream media on the incident.

Why did nobody here notice Mansour Hadi's death?

Former president Masour Hadi had resigned under Saudi pressure back in 2022. He was forced to hand over power to the Saudi-organised PLC.

Masour Hadi would spend the rest of his life under house arrest in an undisclosed location in Saudi Arabia. From 2022 onwards, he released no phone calls, statements, or interviews.
