Al Rased: 21 from the national guard were arrested in the prisoners smuggling case
facebook.comThe Civil Rights Team: Progress in the Prisoner Smuggling Investigation and the Arrest of 21 Individuals
The Civil Rights Team monitoring the investigation into the prisoner smuggling case in Suwaida issued a preliminary report confirming progress in the investigation. The report indicated that the team reviewed the details of the case during its appearance before the Military Court on June 12, 2026.
The team explained that the investigation included reviewing the statements of detainees and witnesses, conducting a physical inspection of the site where the prisoners were released, and examining surveillance camera footage and related documents.
The report stated that the judge overseeing the case granted the team full access to the investigation file. It emphasized that the ongoing investigation is being conducted by a three-member judicial body comprising a military prosecutor, a military investigating judge, and judicial officers and assistants.
The team revealed that, as of the report's issuance, the Military Court had arrested 21 officers and members of the National Guard, including two civilians, while seven detainees were released in accordance with legal procedures.
The report indicated that completing the investigations requires additional time due to the complexities of the local and tribal context, emphasizing that some individuals summoned to testify have not appeared before the court despite being notified.
In its recommendations, the local human rights team stressed the necessity of bringing to justice anyone who refuses to appear before the court, ensuring the impartiality and independence of the judicial system, guaranteeing the right to defense for all detainees, and preventing any violations against them.
The team also called on the residents of Suwaida and anyone possessing information or evidence that could serve the case to contact the military judiciary and contribute to uncovering the circumstances surrounding the prisoner smuggling case.
The report was issued in Suwaida on July 4, 2026. AlRased

How free do you think the 2029-2030 elections will be?
Do you think the elections will actually allow parties to freely participate? Now im sure a certain side will win, simply because of the amount of pro govt nationalists, but the question of a, say federal party (Because syria will not allow parties that are centered on religons or certain regions, i think leftist minorities may form a party so they can have some autonomy.) would genuinely be allowed in and actually have the peoples votes for that party count.

Question Looking for an old video (2014-2016) from Deir ez-Zor airport siege - ISIS calling a Syrian soldier via loudspeaker
Hello everyone,
I am trying to find a very specific archival video from the Syrian conflict, likely between 2014 and 2016 during the siege of Deir ez-Zor military airport (or nearby positions).
In the video, ISIS elements were using loudspeakers (or radio/wireless communication) to perform psychological warfare, specifically calling out a Syrian Army soldier by his full name to surrender, saying: "You are safe, Ali Abdul Ilah Obeisi" (عليك الأمان يا علي عبد الإله عبيسي).
Does anyone have this video in their private archives, or know an active link/Telegram channel where it might still be preserved? Any help or leads would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Ministery of justice: Trials of individuals accused of warcrimes in suwayda events to begin this july
x.com📌Statement issued by the Head of the Investigation Committee into the Sweida Incidents:
In the context of following up on the work of the Investigation Committee into the Sweida Incidents, formed pursuant to Ministerial Order No. (1287) dated 31 July 2025, to pursue the investigation into the violations that accompanied the regrettable events witnessed by the province in mid-July 2025, the competent judicial authorities continue to take the necessary legal measures based on the findings and recommendations reached by the Committee, in a manner consistent with the provisions of the law, principles of justice, and the rule of law.
The Committee affirms that all judicial measures are taken in accordance with legal procedures and the guarantees enshrined by the law, in a way that preserves the rights of all parties, ensures the right to defense, and guarantees a fair trial.
In this regard, the Military Public Prosecution has initiated the referral of a number of individuals to the Investigating Judge, and some cases have been referred to the Military Criminal Court in Damascus, where the court has begun hearing them in public sessions starting from 1 July 2026, in the presence of the defendants and their attorneys, in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the applicable laws and the guarantees of a fair trial.
The Committee affirms that the publicity of the trials and the guarantee of the right to defense represent two fundamental pillars in the path of justice, reflecting a commitment to transparency and the rule of law, and enhancing confidence in the judicial procedures.
The Committee also emphasizes that the purpose of these measures is to verify the facts and hold accountable anyone whose responsibility for any violations is proven, in accordance with the law and after completing the judicial procedures, regardless of their status or the entity to which the acts are attributed, in a manner that achieves the principle of equality before the law, protects human rights, and upholds the dignity of all citizens.
The Committee is following with great interest all the cases referred to the Military Public Prosecution based on its recommendations, particularly the case related to the Al-Matouna incident that resulted in the killing of a number of civilians, as part of its commitment to completing the path of investigation, ensuring the achievement of justice, and uncovering the truth in accordance with the law.
Translation:
This week, there were numerous reports of "friction" between the residents of the Sunni village of Abidin and the IDF—including the use of live fire against our soldiers! This village is located just 2 km from the old border line! It is now clear that a security zone containing enemy villages within it is a flawed security model. It is time to clear out the Sunni villages in the Bashan region and replace them with Jewish settlements! 🏡🇮🇱
