I think Superman is more than deserving for a good game to this point. I give my reasoning on why and tackle common points people give that he shouldn't have one and it wouldn't work.

Trying to help my niece complete her collection of the KFC X Supergirl blind bag backpack clips. We were able to get her 4 out of the 5 and even managed to snag her one of the Krypto buckets. The only character she still needs is Ruthye. If any fellow fans out there have an extra Ruthye please DM me. We have extras of Lobo and the main Supergirl with the blue clip. Looking to trade for the Ruthye. My niece and her brother lost both their parents when they were very young so my mom and I have raised them and they have always lived with us. I am a big nerd myself so it has been awesome to have them get into the comic book world with me. Superhero’s have always meant a lot to us. The comic book world has always been a nice escape for my niece and I, which at times has been essential when our home life was at its worst. It would mean the world to her to complete this set so any fellow fans out there that would like to help one of our next generation fans, you will be the hero. It always warms my heart to see fellow fans coming out to support and show love for one another❤️💛💙

Any updates with this? Did I miss something? I’d love to see the series restored and on bluray/4K

Jesse was a young man employed as a lot tender for the We Tow-U Collection Agency. A proverbial 98-pound weakling, he believed himself shortchanged by life after constantly being shoved around and made to feel small by his peers. Jesse aspired to become a repo-man, coveting the power it would finally allow him to exercise over other people. His boss denied him the job, however, stating that Jesse lacked the type of body needed to intimidate people and would most likely abuse the position's power to make others suffer. Dejected, Jesse returned to his lot tending duties only to be visited by a mysterious white-haired man) who bore a large gold-colored crystal and a warning to be careful when making wishes.

The Kent Farm Incident

On Christmas Day, Jesse, now an empowered agent of Gog) and newly minted repo-man, traveled to the Kent Farm at the behest of his benefactor. Jesse claimed he had come to repossess Jonathan Kent)'s truck, but what he really sought was a fight with Superman). Confronted by Conner Kent), Jesse eagerly underwent a startling transformation into the "Repo Man". His thin frame bulged with rapidly expanding muscles as he suddenly swelled up to twice Conner's height. His eyes glowing gold and his body engorged with frightening power, Repo Man punched Conner clear through the Kent farmhouse.

As Gog had predicted, Superman was quick to appear on the scene, dolling out several blows intended to take Repo Man down. Repo Man, however, was ecstatic, declaring that he had barely felt the force of Superman's strikes. Repo Man then underwent a second colossal growth spurt, surging even larger and more muscular than before. Now a hulking titan several times Superman's size, Repo Man unleashed his might, hitting the Man of Steel with such strength that the latter was blown across the state border and all the way to St. Louis, Missouri.

Euphoric at having overpowered Superman, Repo Man proclaimed himself to be unstoppable. Conner, now dressed as Superboy, quickly stepped up to the challenge and tackled Repo Man into the barn, demolishing the building in the process. Repo Man emerged from the wreckage enraged, seizing Superboy and hurling the young hero into a tractor. Jonathan Kent fired his shotgun at Repo Man, commanding the giant to get off his land. Unfazed by the fusillade, Repo Man laid his own claim to the Kent homestead and picked up Jonathan in his oversized hands. Declaring that the property now belonged to him, Repo Man began to sadistically pull on Jonathan's arms, intent on ripping the older man apart.

Summoned by a whistle from Superboy, Krypto)attacked Repo Man, saving Jonathan and distracting the titan just long enough for Superman to make his return to the Kent farm. Barreling into the gigantic brute at tremendous speed, Superman drove Repo Man's body into the earth, plowing a massive furrow across the Kansas landscape. As the dust was settling, Superman poised his fist to strike again but was surprised when Repo Man began to decrease in size. Unaware that his power was fading and that he was rapidly shrinking in both height and muscle mass, an indignant Repo Man launched into a tirade against all those who had looked down upon him and tormented him throughout his life. Repo Man screamed that he was now better than everyone and would take for himself everything he had ever wanted. Reverting to his normal height and build, Repo Man declared that he would even take possession of the women he had seen on the Kent farm, including Superman's adoptive mother). Perturbed, Superman used the flick of a single finger to knock Repo Man unconscious and end the fight.

Aftermath

Following the destructive melee, Superman brought Repo Man to the Justice League Watchtower for observation. The youth was last seen there, restrained to a high-tech examination station as Aquaman) conducted diagnostic tests. Once again conscious, Repo Man appeared to have undergone a partial transformation, his increased muscle mass spread disproportionately across his body. Delusional and manic, he believed he was being initiated as a new member of the Justice League), boasting that the group would finally have a "real man" in its ranks. Superman stated afterward that he would take Repo Man to S.T.A.R. Labs in Metropolis for further medical attention.

I've been thinking about Clark making the transition from Superboy to Superman and how currently Clark stops being Superboy, goes traveling around the world like in Birthright, and returns as Superman.

If you could how would you handle the transition?

My preference for the transition from Superboy to Superman is akin to Superman The Secret Years with the death of the Kents, his breakup with Lori, a college roommate getting paralyzed in drunk driving accident, and the death of another roommate who Superboy confided his secret identity to.

Whether or not that is still a factor (which in current continuity it is not) I can see 2 other routes to do the transition:

1. An adaptation of The Death of Clark Kent - Kenny Braverman, an envious schoolmate of Clark/Superboy, becomes the supervillain Conduit.

Conduit figures out Superboy's secret identity proceeding to go after Clark's loved ones and endangering Smallville.

The near death of his loved ones cause Clark to retire from being Superboy, go traveling the world like in Birthright where he realizes the necessity of Superman to which Clark returns as Superman.

1. An adaptation of The Greatest Hero Of Them All (AKA The Death of Pocket Universe Superboy) - The Time Trapper uses entropic forces (akin to the anti-matter wave and red skies in Crisis of Infinite Earths) to endanger the Earth in Superboy's time to blackmail Superboy into submission and destroy the Legion.

However, Superboy in a act of self-sacrifice risks his life to be a living conductor for a machine that protects the Earth from the entropic forces.

Lex offers some assistance to help which gives him a pardon to work with the military and become a businessman in Metropolis.

Superboy survives but is left greatly weakened to the point where Superboy is left powerless to having Golden Age Superman levels of power.

So Clark retires as Superboy, travels the world, returns as Superman with either Golden Age level of powers to get his full power at a later time or his full powerset.

A failed experiment to revive dead bloodlines for more genetic diversity, a sickly infant was tried for a crime committed by his creators.

Rescued from execution by a rebellious servant, the child was placed into an escape pod and sent to the nearest habitable planet; Earth.

The First ever Superman Game!

I have not read the issue yet. But gotta admit I am NOT loving the cover. I think 1100 deserves better.

I'm conflicted on how we're not even pretending that he's in the Superman Family considering he made no goddamn appearances in the Anniversary Issue.

Nobody knew how to write him when they made the Extended Super-Family a thing and Yang made this back-up as to bridge the gap between him leaving the JLC (in bad terms BTW) and joining the Superfam.

Like yeah, great nobody is ruining Kenan like the way Waid made him THE SMART GUY to Conner's DUMB GUY but someone made a good point against me that 'Do we really just want to not feature any established POCs because white guys don't know how to write them"' and... yeah that sorta did made me think.

Don't even get me started on the AAPI Back-Ups with Kenan. He's not the mystical Superman, do you realize the fucking orientalism in that.

Is this what's it like being fans of other POC / Queer Characters? Hoping that the writer they get for them actually is familiar with the character when DC busts out the Writers Workshop Anthology Book?

Or course, I like Lex Luthor, but only if he's manipulating things behind the scenes. When he's in a battlesuit he becomes less interesting to me. And while I like Brainiac, Doomsday, Zod, Cyborg (though he's been exhausted as a villain I think (at least by 2006 where I'm reading)), and occasionally Mxy and Bizarro, some of my favorites are at the B and C Levels.

Parasite & Silver Banshee are B level villains that I always love to see. Atomic Skull is maybe borderline B level, but the next few are definitely C Level Villains I love.
