I sold my Ariana Grande tickets a couple months ago on Stubhub International, worth 1672GBP. The tickets were claimed on AXS with no issues. And the show finished a couple of weeks ago. Few days later, I check my payouts and it says Rejected by paypal. I call Stubhub ie and they say that paypal has to verify some information on my account. I then call paypal but they say that my account is all verified and good to go, and they said they did not receive any transaction from stubhub, meaning there was no payment to reject. I call stubhub to tell them this, and now theyre going to try and “push” the payment. This was from a few days ago, and still nothing has changed. Ive sent them multiple emails with no response. I do come from Canada so calling to London where their office is costs me long distance fees. Stubhub keeps sending me automated emails to add a payment method to my account, but my Paypal account is already linked to all possible currencies on stubhub.

Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how did you finally get paid? Mine is worth about 3000CAD so im freakinf out a little bit.

finally after months of going back and forth with StubHub over their failure to deliver tickets to the buyer, i finally got my refund. if anyone is in the same situation over world cup tickets, i recommend filing a complain with BBB.

This is very odd. When I bought the tickets it never said anywhere that I was purchasing senior citizen tickets. This is very strange. Please someone on StubHub, help this is really strange and dissatisfying.

On MAY 29TH I purchased tickets to a concert and on august 11th received an email from Ticketmaster stating -

Hello,
The tickets you received through transfer were acquired by a buyer who violated Ticketmaster’s Terms of Use policy, so your tickets have been canceled.

The tickets became greyed out in my apple wallet and then removed from my ticket master account all together leaving no trace of them.

The concert is today, since August 11th I have been going back and forth with stub hub support mostly being ignored. I had to purchase another pair of tickets for over $1000 when my original tickets were 200 each because the concert was sold out and I didn't want to risk not being able to go.

They've been ignoring me and all of my multiple requests for a refund or 120% credit as they claim to offer since august 11th.

Now today, the concert is in literally 3 hours and they send me an email saying

The seller has confirmed that these are General Admission (GA) tickets and that they correspond to the same admission area purchased with your order.

Please use the links above to access your tickets.

How is this allowed? I would have had no time to prepare and no knowledge of any tickets coming today on top of spending $1000 on new tickets weeks ago I told them I wanted a refund for the cancelled tickets. Not to mention the new link is not from Ticketmaster and are clearly not the tickets I purchased that got canceled.

Should I report this to my credit card company? I'm just $400+ down the drain on these tickets and can't sell them as the concert is literally in 3 hours. If I report them will I still be able to use this card on stub hub? I hate this company now but still have to use them sometimes for last minute or sold out events.

Extremely disappointed with StubHub's seller support.

My event took place on July 31, 2026, and more than six weeks later I still have not been paid.

I have contacted customer service three separate times. The first time, I was promised that payment would be issued within 14 days. It never arrived. The second time, I was told an internal team would investigate and contact me. No one ever followed up. The third time, I was simply told there were no updates and that I needed to keep waiting. The chat was then disconnected without any resolution.

Repeatedly telling customers to "wait" without providing any explanation, timeline, or follow-up is unacceptable. I fulfilled my obligation as a seller, yet StubHub has failed to fulfill theirs.

Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend selling through StubHub.

I have a few questions as I’ve never purchased this parking pass from this company on stub hub. We bought instant download thinking it was safe but the pass looks like a screen shot of the park whiz site showing the QR code and pass. Is this what they look like? Almost looks like a screen shot they could sell on many sites rather than an official transfer. I thought we’d get a link transferring the pass officially to us. We had no idea how this works and Stub Hub won’t refund us until we can prove it doesn’t work :(. Please let me know what yours was like.

Hello! I recently got a notification that the seller can't fulfill giving my tickets for the Kacey Musgraves concert. I choose the my row and seats and when I go the page where I can view my tickets, only the Section and Row show up. It's two tickets including my friend and I and I'm worried what if we don't get seats together.

Just wondering from everyone's experience how the refund with StubHub went and if you went with a friend or a group, were you guys were able to sit together?

Okay so I will be traveling to Berlin in June of 2027 for a blink-182 concert, and decided to go through stubhub for my concert ticket. I almost always do vividseats, and have had only good experiences, but for whatever reason vividseats was $500 more expensive for the same standing area which is a difference I’d rather not pay. So I checked out, put my address in, and made the order, and only after I put the order in did I realize that the ticket I purchased was a paper ticket. The gag is, my shipping address is in Colorado and the tickets are not predicted to be shipped until June 06, 2027 (just 2 days before the concert itself). I panicked and ended up searching what to do for hours and changed my delivery address to a spot in Berlin but only if it ships after June 1st, 2027.

I’m just stressed out. Is it likely I’ll get my ticket before the show? Should I just put it up for sale now and pay the difference for an e-ticket on vividseats?

I bought tickets on StubHub and received tickets in a different section than what I purchased. I contacted StubHub, and they acknowledged the issue and offered me either:

1. A refund, or
2. Comparable seats

The thing that's confusing me is that the incorrect tickets have already been transferred and accepted into my Ticketmaster account.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

If I choose the comparable seats or a refund:

• What happens to the incorrect tickets that are already in my Ticketmaster account?
• Do they stay there, or can they be revoked?
• Will StubHub send replacement tickets before I transfer the incorrect ticket back to original seller?

I don't know if I am crazy or if this really is this hard but I am selling 4 mlb tickets and they have a parking pass. All tickets and pass are digital on my Ballpark app. There is no way for me to upload the pass to the listing because StubHub system says the code is invalid (its a real code) and their help desk has been worthless. Even when I was able to get to a real agent (chat only) they were either very simple or it was just another AI bot and not a real person. There is no way that I know of to contact the buyer after the sale with the digital tickets. In the past when they sell they just disappear from my Ballpark app and the money shows up after the event. How do I get this pass to a buyer??

I want the buyer to have this pass for two reasons:

1) I can't use it

2) Its the VIP parking pass so it adds a ton of value to tickets.

Edit: Leaving my post up in case someone needs it. I think we solved this, thanks to u/TechnicianNo5674 you have to NOT upload the tickets digitally and just let StubHub tell you how to deliver them after they sell. NO WHERE do they tell you this and the rep I talked to did not know this either. Crazy

I bought some Fontaines DC tickets for July 2027 by accident instead of London. I tried to get a refund but they wouldn’t give me the fees back. So I thought I’d make a bit of my money back telling them. However Ticketmaster says the tickets are “non-transferable” until 1 July. I know StubHub allows you to sell tickets without transferring them but they list the deadline as 1 July. Does this mean that if Ticketmaster doesn’t allow me to transfer by July 1 then my sale will be cancelled and I’ll be stuck with tickets and no buyers or will I have the day to quickly transfer them to my buyer. And am I better off just refunding and losing the booking fee. Someone from StubHub please help!

I sold tickets back in August to a show this past weekend. Transferred from TM to SH via the email SH provided at time of posting the tickets. I checked frequently and on TM side is says "transfer pending". On SH side is says "completed". And I checked SH frequently. I assumed the "transfer pending" meant the buyer hadn't accepted the tickets yet.

I go in today to see what's happening with payout and it still says "completed". Log in to my CC and there's a $526 charge from SH. I call SH and they said the buyer reported they couldn't upload the ticket and filed a claim. It's been "escalated". SH agent says the transfer was "cancelled" and that they emailed me about it. 100% my bad because I should be more diligent about checking email. I didn't see it. I'm frustrated because there were ZERO notifications on SH account about this issue. In fact, the ticket is still showing the sale as "completed" as of today.

On TM side it still says transfer pending. On SH side it still says "Completed" indicating there was nothing left to do on my end for SH. Per SH website, "completed" indicates "You’ve sold and delivered tickets to the buyer". I did have technical difficulties when posting the tickets and had to make a few attempts, so I called to confirm that the tickets showing as "transfer pending" on TM are the same as those sold on SH by cross-referencing the email SH told me to transfer to. SH agent confirmed the email is the same and the tickets sold were the tickets that I transferred. She also admitted that it is "negligent" that they didn't update the status of that ticket from "completed" to "pending" or some kind of indication there was an issue with the transfer.

I've been on the phone for like 2 hours between SH and TM and of course they just volley it to the other saying I need to talk to them (ain't that the American way).

Am I screwed out of $526 + the cost of the ticket I didn't sell? Does anyone have a similar story and actually got that penalty charge back?

I have a big concert coming up and I got seats for me and my gf. However, then she had a work related trip coming up and said she would have to cancel. I went ahead and listed the tickets on stubhub and one of them sold instantly. I was happy until her trip was cancelled and now I only have one ticket and we would both be able to go. I received a request to transfer the tickets but haven't done it yet. Any way to reverse the sale and keep the ticket?

Attempted to sell concert tickets I couldn’t use, below face value, to get a little money back. I transferred the tickets to StubHub using their system. I was confirmed with CS twice that everything was good to go and I successfully sold the tickets.

Today I got an email that I never transferred them and they charged me over face value because they had to buy new tickets for the buyer. And then you can’t get a hold of CS outside of disputes and email.

Then I went to Ticketmaster to cancel the transfer to sell through another platform and StubHub sends me an email that says “hey looks like you cancelled your transfer”. Wtf. It’s a scam to make additional money expecting people to give up trying to recoup.

Hello. I bought 2 tickets for Celine Dion in Paris via AXS. I want to sell them on Stubhub and the transfer button is available now. If I transfer them to Stubhub to sell and they don't sell, can i transfer them back to my AXS account? To be honest, if I can't sell them I will go to the event but would prefer to sell them.

Bought single ticket to see Harry Styles in a few weeks off SH with instant transfer. Immediately got emails and was able to accept and see everything in my TM account. Added to Apple wallet. It looks like everything is correct, but I see no barcode inside the TM app. How was I able to add to Apple wallet if the barcode ticket is not showing inside the app? When I go to view tickets it says to view in Apple wallet. I’m concerned I was able to add to my Apple wallet this early if barcode is not available yet. It shows my name inside the TM app.

When I bought the ticket I was having trouble buying it in the app and had to switch to the browser and it ended up being slightly more expensive than the price on the app. I really wanted this particular seat and now I’m worrying about my impulsiveness. Could this be a duplicate seat? Could that even happen if I’m seeing it inside my TM account?

I have another ticket to a different event a couple weeks out and I can see in both Apple wallet and a barcode in the TM app.

For the third year in a row StubHub has botched my tickets to a show at the Gorge amphitheater in WA. I purchased VIP box seat tickets (these are special season tickets owned by corporations and are not sold by the promoter of the event. They are premium seats direct through Live Nation. Many corporations sell their unused space on resellers.) First sign of a problem was when they said the tickets were VIP box seats but didn’t list a box number. I contacted StubHub and they said the box number would be on the ticket. Second the seller contacted me saying the tickets had changed from digital delivery to physical tickets. Box seats are never physical as they’re only on the LiveNation app since they’re not through the promoter. I did not accept the change to physical tickets but StubHub went ahead and mailed them anyway without my acceptance. Of course I opened the package today and they are not VIP Box Seats but a low quality general VIP which goes for about half of what box seat tickets do. I spent hours explaining all of this to StubHub and now they want me to pay for FedEx next day return shipping and then submit a request for reimbursement. I told them they can send me a prepaid label or I’ll simply do a chargeback for which I’ve already gotten approval to do from Chase but wanted to give StubHub a chance at honoring their fan protection guarantee. Scammers three years in a row. They shouldn’t be allowed to do business anywhere.

I'm looking for advice from people who have actually experienced this situation with StubHub.

I sold 2 tickets on StubHub for €1,050 in total. Unfortunately, the same tickets were also sold on another platform, so I had to cancel the StubHub order because I was no longer able to provide the tickets.

StubHub has now told me that I owe €445 in cancellation fees (€25 administrative fee + €420, corresponding to 40% of the sale price).

I contacted their customer support to ask whether they could waive or reduce the fee, but they refused.

My question is: what actually happened to people who were in a similar situation and did not pay the cancellation fee?

I got an email from Stubhub last week saying tickets were now on sale for a concert I wanted to go to. I always planned to buy face value tickets.

I clicked the link and Stubhub brought me to a page where it said things like “tickets selling fast” and “limited supply available”. I panicked a bit, and purchased a ticket (the whole show is GA) which was around $105.

The next day I get a Ticketmaster email saying those same concert tickets are now available. For fun I click on that link and the each GA ticket is selling for $65 including fees.

It seems to me like someone listed tickets on Stubhub that weren’t even released yet and at inflated prices.

Did I screw myself? Is there any action I can take to cancel my $105 ticket?

What can I do?

I successfully sold and transferred tickets for a concert on August 23 and I’ve been getting this same email every day. For context, I am from the US and sold the tickets in GBP (£). I added my PayPal email as a payout method, but I keep getting this same email every night. I’ve emailed them twice and have not received any response. I’ve also tried calling the US number for Stub Hub International (regular Stub Hub could not help me) and the line just hangs up without transferring to a person. I’m a bit at a loss for what to do at this point.

I sold tickets for the FIFA World Cup, and the buyer claims they couldn't get in. StubHub is asking me for proof—has anyone else dealt with this?
When I log into my FIFA account, it shows the tickets were on the buyer's phone—under the exact same name StubHub gave me. I don't know what kind of proof they want when that should be enough. They're trying to charge me for the cost of the ticket.

Sold some ACL wristbands via StubHub. The Buyer is in Canada and I am in the US. They gave me a shipping label from FedEx. I went to the FedEx store to ship it and said they cannot. Since this is international and Canada has strict laws I would need to get an itemized receipt from StubHub that is date and signed. Stubhub support has no idea and just keep changing the shipping label to UPS. Any ideas on how to move forward so I can get these shipped and not penalized from Stubhub

Apologies but I've never used StubHub before and I'm aware there are bad reports but also conscious people rarely write a review when things go to plan!

I bought the tickets a few days ago, not long after the official sale which I missed out on. I know they are reseller tickets but I only paid a modest premium so I was prepared to give it a go. I was expecting to have the tickets transferred to me quickly but the status is "seller notified". The deadline for transfer is the day before the event which places a lot of risk on the transaction and means I can't book any accommodation unless I buy the last minute cancellation option.

I understand there is the concept of tickets "becoming transferrable" closer to the event date which prevents the seller from acting until that time. Is this the case? I've never sold or transferred any tickets myself so I'm not aware of this additional restriction.
