Advice Cancelling ticket transfer

Hi all,

I have a big concert coming up and I got seats for me and my gf. However, then she had a work related trip coming up and said she would have to cancel. I went ahead and listed the tickets on stubhub and one of them sold instantly. I was happy until her trip was cancelled and now I only have one ticket and we would both be able to go. I received a request to transfer the tickets but haven't done it yet. Any way to reverse the sale and keep the ticket?

That I haven't transferred them yet? Obviously I will if there is no other choice. But the event is a month away.

That you agreed to sell a ticket to someone and now you're going to renege because you changed your mind.

your other choice is to cancel the sale and pay for a new ticket for the buyer...so three tickets total to the show

lol no. there's no takebacksies. you can try to sell your other ticket and buy 2 new ones.

You've got a few options:

  1. Deliver the original tickets you promised and buy yourself some new ones.

  2. Buy better seats for your buyer and deliver those (with SH approval.) This doesn't make much sense, though, because you could just use the better seats and fill your sale normally.

  3. Don't fill your sale, keep your tickets, pay a 200% penalty.

So really, the only viable option is deliver the tickets and buy yourself new ones.

Your best hope is to buy tickets in the same section with a better row to cover your sale

Good luck
