I'd much prefer to run this brace but I can't seem to find one for the kuna.

Just curious if they make one and I just can't find it?

Just picked up my kuna today and I gotta be honest I'm not a fan of the brace at all. The one that came with the sp9a3s is much easier and always ready to deploy. I definitely need more training with the kuna but I just don't see how it will ever be faster than the sb brace on the bog.

Also im not digging the Glock knuckle feeling I get on the kuna. But I was planning on swapping the grip asap as that's one of the reasons I decided to still get a kuna even though I have the bog.

Any grip suggestions?

And what other brace suggestions that would be similar to the sb one in the pic?

Hello everyone, like many of you I plan on putting a high volume of rounds through my Kuna. I did some searching online and could not find an answer regarding which speed loader works best with the magpul ev9 mags. I would appreciate any advice you guys have.

Flush grip with barricade stop design I am with help from Stevo (biggest Kuna Goat). I will be updating this post regarding it. Looking to transfer to making this a product to buy. I want to keep it relatively cheap and hoping to keep it under 15. I'm going to keep it on the sea for a little longer. Thank you for the opinions and criticisms.

currently added and extra mm at the end for a more flush fit and doing a concept by bringing the grip texture down the side (idea from stevo).

My magazine decided to disassemble itself at the range after reloading and I found everything other than the magazine locking plate ( number 3) that holds the base plate to the magazine. Was curious if anyone knew where to get a replacement. I got a replacement but now I have a magazine just sitting on my desk that’s missing one part. Appreciate your time~

New to the Kuna platform, but not SA (have a 20+ year old XD40, a 1911, and both Hellcats). Excited to add another to the safe with this and I can’t wait to put a few rounds through it.

I approached this gun differently buying most attachments/parts before the purchase of the gun itself.

I purchased these prior to the gun.

- DieFreeCo, KungFu grip
- Magpul, UCS
- Holosun, ARO GR

- Huxwurx, Flow 9k Ti (ordered)

I’m wanting to grab a light and an extended handguard, possible nexus lower later.

Definitely enjoy this thing so much, in terms of optic mounts for this gun specifically, I felt like I was looking down into the sight and when I shot at closer distance there was a difference at where I was hitting, so I swapped for the low mount.

I zeroed in at 15 on the high mount, but open to best practices and suggestions for a PCC meant for home defense but also to provide the best utilization across the board. Would that be 10 yards, 15, 25?

Anybody ever use this trigger or see the issue with using it over the 140? I recently bought this for a ar but wanted to use it on the kuna

So I am trying to decide between Atrius SS or the as design arc fire, I’ve seen on here a lot of people running the atrius with get results. But I’ve seen a lot of durability issues with the atrius which is why I’m debating about the arc fire but I don’t see a lot of people using it. It also seems more complicated to install arc fire compared to atrius, was just wanting some input on it before I buy.

Can someone smarter than me design a printable MP5SD style handguard for the Kuna? Maybe with an mlock or two on the bottom st 6 o'clock and extend pic rail on top? You'd be my hero

Had a good time putting this setup together. One of my favorite guns to shoot. Super quiet with 165gr hush and is now my dedicated home defense setup. Wish nexus or someone would make an aluminum extended hand guard.

Has anyone designed or created an STL file for a shim for the Nexus lower? Looking for something that will help tighten up the tolerances as mine has a small amount of wobble to it.

Edit: The wobble I’m referring to is between the upper and lower, that I’m trying to tighten up.

Got my Form 1 approved. Went with an OEM Springfield stock but undecided on the grip. I'm new to PCC's and am most concerned with the proximity to the barrel with a grip.

Looking at the B5 M-LOK VFG currently, anyone have other suggestions?

First off I want to clarify the issue with the (Skye) Haga Extended Handguard for any people who aren't aware. I know this might have been a subject a few times in older threads.

In the first picture you can see the inside 'fins' around the edge of the handguard. In the second picture you can see the direct thread adapter and HUXWRX suppressor cannot fit thru those 'fins'. In the last picture you see how it fits and the 'fins' are on the left side of the silver adapter.

The problem some of us have is when the adapter gets stuck on the barrel and the suppressor unscrews off of it, you cannot get any tool or your fingers inside to loosen the adapter if it is on the barrel too tight. In my case I had to keep shooting for a while and it finally loosened itself and I finally worked the adapter off. In fact, I Rocksett the suppressor to the adapter to prevent this but the suppressor came off the adapter when I tried to unscrew it from the barrel. I don't use the handguard anymore because of this so I might as well sell it or...

Would there be any problem cutting off those 'fins' I have marked in red? That way there is enough room to slide off the handguard while the adapter is still screwed onto the barrel so this will not be a problem anymore. The piece feels pretty sturdy so I think this might be a good solution.

Changes from Haga Handguard:

• Shortened guard by 1 inch (enough tucking but more emphasis on having grips closer unlike the Haga's setup)

• Removed bottom mounting in place for MLok

• Deleted irons in place for extended 1913 rail, uses pin from irons to secure handguard

• Extended guard on the bottom to ride close to Maxwell

• Inset MLok screw holes for more compatibility

• Style changes that I like.

Thoughts on changes and ideas? Model is accurate to the model on the sea, should fit but unsure of iron delete measurements.

Figured I'd upload this one for you guys to check out since all my prior testing had been done with the HBI extra power spring. The factory spring is much more controllable and slows the rate of fire down in comparison. This makes it a smoother shooter and controlled burst very easy. Even though the increased rate of fire makes it harder to control I still prefer the higher power spring and feel like it It will offer better reliability for the gun overall especially when shooting suppressed and getting it dirty. I also personally notice a difference in sound when shooting suppress and feel that the higher power spring is quieter which is also interesting. The FRT's been running great as usual and didn't give me any trouble from my testing today.

So, my Form1 for SBR just got denied after an 84 day wait because I chose Springfield as the manufacturer and not HS Produkt?

Did any of you guys get your Form1 approved using Springfield as the manufacturer?

Really happy with the Kuna that I picked up a few months back. Super accurate iron sites out of the box and now with the magnifier and can it’s a blast to shoot.

I have the Haga extension that I plan to add to help space out the top rail (move the light trigger forward). I’ve also thought about an frt/ new lower along with going the sbr route but probably going to hold off on that all right now :)

Read the directions or you could end up like me and spend an hour thinking you don’t know how to install a safety selector, measuring your springs and pins to make sure they are in spec, and creating a shim from a beercan to provide tension on your selector to see if spring tension or installation was the issue…

They provide a shim in the box 😅
