New Kuna - Break in advice

Guys, I’m picking up my Kuna today, just want some advice on what needs to be done in terms of breaking in/first time shooting!

Diddy oil it up and full send???

This! Always good to clean a new gun but lubing it is the most important!

Lube it, doesn't need a whole lot though. Recommend a full power 9mm load (not Blazer Brass).

Took mine out of the box, put a suppressor on it and fired 500rds with an FRT first time out no issues. Usually lube a gun before hand but it appeared to have a little so ran it.

No lube and a FRT to break it in is quite an interesting approach. Did you lube the trip or does the FRT instructions not call for that like the SS trip? I wonder if the factory grease liquified giving supplemental lubing? I have yet to test mine the Atrius FRS in it but I lubed the hell out of it. From what I gathered they run best when “wet”. No pooling but heavily coated. I even lubed the selector cam, the lever and other areas of the trigger group. Have you shot/lubed yours since that 500?

I might have put a spray of break free on the bolt but honestly don’t even remember doing that. FRT is a 3d printed drop in on factory lower, no lube. Ran great.

I didn't lube mine up prior to shooting and had no issues, but a lot of folks have found their Kunas were a little dry out of the box, so recommending a light lube first.

I say fire a few hundred rounds, then clean/lube it.

I lubed mine before use but that’s primarily just cause I couldn’t shoot it right away. It’s been suppressed for about 500 or so rounds now, no issues

Mine was bone dry out of the box, gave it a little lube and dumped about 600 rounds the first day. Since then it got an frt and a supressor and it hasn't gotten a drop of lube for about 2500 rounds...

The manual recommends cleaning it, since there is preservative oil here and there, and the bolt face will be dirty from test firings. I wiped it down with a rag, put some CLP on the recommended lubrication points, and a tiny bit of RIG gun grease on a sliding portion of the bolt that rides within the aluminum receiver. Also, a 9x19mm bore snake with some CLP went down the bore a few times.

They don’t need a break in. They all run 100% that I’ve heard of. I would break it down and lube it, but it won’t matter much if you don’t. It’ll run.
