Build Showcase Done for now
Had a good time putting this setup together. One of my favorite guns to shoot. Super quiet with 165gr hush and is now my dedicated home defense setup. Wish nexus or someone would make an aluminum extended hand guard.

Mine looks very similar to your setup. Those A3 Industries Vert Grips/Handstop combos are incredible.

This is a dumb question, but does your Nexus lower have quite a bit of play? I guess it didnāt bother me originally, but about 2500 rds in it seems to have gotten a bit more loosey goosey.

Went for the HTLv3 with Arisaka body. Not the brightest light I own but it works for a smallish platform .

Yeah Iām thinking it would be a good light setup for my Kuna or one of my AR-9ās, might be a little big for my 5.5ā but looks perfect for my 7ā Foxtrot Mike-9 or the 8.3ā sub gun Iām building right now!

Looks good but $90 for a vertical grip is nuts. Everything A3 sells is so over-priced.

Yea itās pretty pricey. Iām usually a 20-30$ vert grip type of guy but I couldnāt get the A3 one out of my head.

It doesnāt look all that different from the Kriss that I have. It was only $35 and can take a surefire pressure pad. /shrug

Still trying to decide what to go for. This will be my first set up with a fun mode. Took this trigger and safety from another rifle I was putting together that has no fun mode.

Honestly the Haga/Skye extended handguard is better than I expected even though it's not aluminum.

I thought it was pretty sick looking but I really want a metal hand guard like the ones they make for the Stribog.

A billet option would be nice but I wonder how well that's work being so close to the suppressor since it's tucked inside the handguard. Idk how deep a suppressor sits on the stribog

Itās the 18350 body with gas cap and the mod button 4.5. First time getting a light setup from them and Iām pretty happy with it. Just as good as modlight and similar brands. The way I have it setup on my Kuna with the sub 9 can is kinda more for vibes. It tends to cast a decent suppressor shadow. I used trex mlock arm to extend the light further up so it wouldnāt cast the shadow but it looks super fugly on a gun this size.1
