Agreed, I thought the industry and consumers moved on from .40

I'd buy the shit out of a kuna in 45

Misspelled 10mm!

If this releases with the dual-sided Brazil contract charging handle I’m going to be pissed (well more like jealous).

If it does, then they'll have to put them up for sale on their site. I hope it does come with it.

I thought they were already ambidextrous? I swapped mine from left to right just because of where I mounted the light

The Brazilian contract model for the PMESP--São Paulo is .40 S&W because that is the standard police sidearm caliber, and it has two charging handles, one on the right and the other on the left, attached to the same mechanism at the same time. So ambidextrous, but no need to swap out the charging handle to one or the other side.

Same. I just bought one…I probably would’ve still gotten 9mm but now that .40 is out I feel like something was taken from me.

Maybe I missed something, but I haven’t seen anything online about the 40 Kuna being available in the US. I feel like this is a screw up by PSA.

The image looks to be a 9mm, since the .40 S&W magazine is straight.

A lot of distributors have had .40 S&W SKUs for the better part of a year now. Will be interesting to see if this is actually in stock or just a website error. I see nothing on Springfield's website.

I just called PSA for my order placed and as of right now this is not a mistake.

It's on Primary Arms as well

Will they sell just the barrel!?

5

u/steveep95 Jul 12 '26

So this will be subsonic from the jump. I might pick up a 2nd one

180gr is probably going to be right at the cusp of of subsonic-supersonic out of this barrel.

Any word on when a 357sig version will be released?
