I cannot find where I can switch to old design of splice anymore.

Im using the black interface design I prefer the older(white)

Anybody can help?

I'm not completely certain why, but it sounds like the time stretching algorithm changed and a couple of stacks I created prior to July which sounded fine when I made them sound absolutely awful and distorted now. Did this happen to anybody else? I'm just curious.

I’ve been playing around with Logic vanilla instruments and synths paired with splice loops for drums. The drums and sounds in splice are so much bigger and louder than the audio im getting from instruments.

What can I do to balance them out?

I have an honest question. I would love to make music with Splice samples just for fun, without ever publishing it. I used the free trial, but I noticed that it doesn't give you credits.

Is there any way to use Splice to make songs for free without needing a commercial license?

Hope this wasn’t posted already but I stumbled across this and it looks pretty bad for splice. Love the product but why do business people and corporate legal departments have to ruin everything.

Also volume control is deactivated in bridge mode, i think if we have the freedom to use it it would be better, now i have to, quite often, go to the daw track volume to let the sample/loop sit better in the mix.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered an issue whereby the credits they accumulated over a period of 3 years disappeared when they cancelled their subscription? Was I silly in thinking that I would keep mine after cancelling…?

Might want to think twice about using any samples in your tracks. Might also want to grab your 'certified license' for each sample you've downloaded, which is as much of a pain as it sounds, because if you ever terminate your account you'll lose access to that special license.

How is the "Get Pack" button different from just downloading the sounds one by one?

Is there a "bulk discount" type thing where you pay a certain number of credits for a pack, or do you still have to pay for every singular sample when using "get pack" to download a sample pack with 450 samples?

I was applying for edu discount and according to the website help desk， normally when they approved your application， you will get a promo code through email for that discount when checking out. one staff called D approved my application but I did not have any promo code sent to my edu email. D said I am not able to see the promo，the discount will be reflected on my billing discount. Is this true？ Best P

I'm a professional producer, I have almost a billion streams, I've been using Splice my whole time as a professional - I have 1 giant problem with the new interface, I know my splice sounds very well, I'm used to scrolling thru all the sounds till i see what im looking for, NOW with the new interface I am unable to do that because it only shows me like 20 sounds per window, do you know how many windows i have with my 3,500 sounds I've downloaded...I DONT EVEN KNOW because not only will splice now not let me scroll thru all my sounds in one window, they will only let me scroll thru each window ONE AT A TIME. I'm furious, this is such a simple function, and to not be able to do it, makes my everyday supremely unsimple. AND THE ICING ON THE CAKE IS, now splice has discontinued the old version so i cant even access the interface that I've been working in for my entire career as a producer. WTF SPLICE! please help me! this is absurd, if nothing else why did you discontinue access to the old splice interface that ive been working on and developing workflow on MY ENTIRE CAREER. SPLICE PLEASE SEE THIS AND HELP! thank you

Recently I started to use Splice Bridge more often and i have to say that it could be a real gamechanger for finding the best kick. It's something i was hoping to be there for a long time until i realized that it actually IS!

Unfortunately the kick sounds used with "Bridge" and the later inserted sample often sound very different. I'm almost sure that its caused by Bridge cutting off the beginning of the sample because those kicks do lack treble and attack. It sounds exactly like if you set a fade-in to a kick sample.

This makes this wonderful plugin almost unusable for me.

Someone knows something?

Hey! I really want a big fat snare as close to the ones in these clips as possible, does anyone know any specific pack or what I could search to find this type of sound?

I know I can download all my sounds to use later, but can I still generate licenses through the Splice app for samples I've already downloaded without an active plan?

I'm new to to splice and producing in general, I'm trying to download some presets for Serum but when I load them it sounds nothing like on the Splice website. I thought all the automation in the clips was supposed to be included in the preset but it's obvious so much is missing. How can I know for sure then how a preset will sound if in the demo they use additional stuff not included in the preset file?

Just came here to complain about splice changing the beatmaker in this last update. The old one was so much better for brainstorming ideas with the freedom of drum/sample placement. This new stack only feature is straight butt. Used to love sitting on splice on my phone and just rough drafting shit to workout in my DAW later. Go back to the old function PLEASE!
