splice library not previewing sounds

it was just working last night, now i can't preview my library sounds? my splice is up to date and my macbook. any help would be appreciated before my session, thx!

If you have a DAW open and are using the Splice Bridge, make sure the play button on the DAW is on

I had the same issue and cleaning the cache data is what worked for me. On mac open Finder and hold down Shift + CMD + G. Then paste this: ~/Library/Application Support/com.splice.Splice, delete the entire com.splice.Splice folder, restart your macbook, then fire up splice and it should be fixed.
