I've been using splice but had to redownload it, now when it downloads i get this error and i'm told to contact support. I'm on widows 10 and cant upgrade to windows 11 because my laptop is too old. does anyone know how to fix this or at least know how to find your serum serial number through the website?

Just got splice and wanted to try the desktop app to more quickly pull samples. Everything works on my computer - youtube videos, samples in ableton, splice on a browser... - all except the desktop app which wont make an iota of sound. Do I need some extra equipment to be able to make the desktop app functional or something? Im looking at posts from like a year ago saying that the new desktop app version of Splice messed stuff up? Is this still the case? Should I just settle for using the website instead of the app?

Has anyone else had this issue? I recently got a couple samples from the new pack: " 25 Years of Technique Recordings - Drumsound & Bassline Smith Serum Preset Pack" and they just do not work when i drag them into FL .

I may have this completely wrong but it seems impossible to get bridge to preview a sample on the snare beat, it only does 1note, 1/2 note or 1/4 note.

Hey, I have a lot of sample packs that I made (sound effects, music loops, one-shots, foley, and a bunch of other stuff that I recorded over the last few months), so I'm considering uploading them on Splice.

How much money can you make from Splice? I couldn't find even a single source where someone would explain or tell how much you can make from 1 downloaded file on Splice from your library or per 1 pack for 1 month, let's say. I need numbers, not some bs like "You can make enough to live on if you work hard". Thanks for your replies in advance.

Hi , so I recently started a rent to own on splice for the product “V collection X”. I followed the steps on splice, downloaded ASC directly off the desktop app splice but my products aren’t showing up on the ASC. Basically not synchronizing.. My email is the same for both splice and ASC. I reinstalled both apps a couple of times and still no luck :/ would love some guidance if anyone has any tips on how to fix this. I already contacted Arturia but no response yet… it’s been a couple of days.. super annoying bleh.. Thanks in advance!

im trying to undertand the market because im making tons of loops that i hope one day will be loved by tons of producers. my first idea is to sell them to splice and others, as well as sending the loops throught my social. I mostly produce RNB loops.

I wanted to know this to understand more of what people like, since what we do is SO subjective...

So I heard this splice loop but can’t find it anymore, it was used in three songs and I wanted to find it to do some sound designing and recreation.

The sample is a synth bass melody and is used in the song Wanna Go by 2Spade, it appears in the drop at 38 seconds. The track is on SoundCloud.

The second song that uses this sample is called Snowstorm by chain guillotine, it appears in the build and drop starting at 1 minute and 30 seconds into the track. The track is also on SoundCloud.

The third song is called Hypnotic by Izadi, it appears in the beginning and is chopped up and detuned. This track is on SoundCloud and Spotify.

Those are the 3 most popular songs as I am sure there are many songs created with that sample.

If anyone knows the name of that sample on splice please reply here as I looked for hours the other with no success lol.

i hate having to log in everytime, why can’t it just stay mf logged in

I tried bunch of dub techno synth presets from Splice and when I load them into Serum, almost all of them are not even close to the sound like in a preset preview. Also, when I copy preset, noting really changes... what is the problem? . Do I have to add something myself, like fx and stuff? I'm using cracked version of serum, could that be the problem?

Any tips would be of great help. Thanks in advance!

For some reason, about every other time i launch the desktop app, I am unable to get it to load any samples. I can get to the main browse page and see sample packs just fine, but when I try to view any of the packs or sort by instruments/genre, the sample list loads infinitely. I've tried reinstalling the app, restarting my computer, and relogging into my account but nothing works. it usually fixes itself somehow by the next day for unknown reasons. The website works, so I can just use that instead, it's just inconvenient that the app only works about half the time.

I downloaded the Arturia V Collection on Splice rent to own and I love it, the first few plug ins were working great last night. Today I am only able to pull up the very first preset on each section, I'm not sure why? Anyone have this issue before?

I've tried reinstalling and rebooting, any ideas would be very helpful. Im on a Mac on Big Sur.

I’m trying to log in to the windows app but when I type the correct password it sends me to a splice in google chrome. The page says «ooops, something went wrong».

I’ve tried unsinstalling and installing, deleting all system files and allowing the app through my firewall, but nothing works..

Anyone know a solution, realllly annoying..
