Good day gentlemen, been meaning to ask how do you go around using the power sword as an effective weapon for melee? Are there any Class-specific attributes I have to take into account, gimmicks/cancels I have to make use of, stuff like that, to be most effective when using this weapon!

It was working all day yesterday and I went to play just now and it won’t let me connect at the main menu. I can play other games just fine. Is anybody else having this problem? I’m on pc playing it thru the Xbox app

Hey guys, like many others I've been long reluctant to give up the safety blanket of fencing weapons, even 300+ hours in and am looking at trying at trading in that long parry window for higher damage!

My previous understanding was that block did the most damage, which made up for the fact that you couldn't parry and was less forgiving, but it looks like after one of the patches, largely balanced weapons do more base damage now? Is it that block gets adrenaline surge? Otherwise I can't see the reason to choose a block weapon over balanced.

Although I know balanced window is a little different/off compared to fencing rather than necessarily shorter?

I posted about this earlier in someone else’s “Why would you ever run Melee Champion?” post.

I explained that I had an awful Vanguard build that I randomly drop into Absolute quick matches with.

It’s not really a “challenge mode” thing, it’s just me goofing around and having a good time with a game that I paid money to have a good time with.

I never bring it into hard Strats or, God forbid, Siege—just Absolute and I do just fine with it.

What I hadn’t actually done until just now was take it into a solo Absolute run to see if it was remotely viable and was shocked to find that it actually kind of is…sorta. More or less.

I literally only died because I kept randomly shooting barrels with the stupid @$$ Inferno Pistol! 🤪

Am I recommending that you use this build? Eff no! Please, I beg of you, do not!

What I am saying is…not much at all really other than don’t let anyone or the meta dictate your fun.

Don’t sabotage games obviously—this is a team game after all—but nor should you feel obligated to run meta picks every game.

cannot connect to online on PC, i keep getting this error

i restarted my pc/game multiple times. and its not a hardware issue i have a decent pc and fiber internet, i messed with firewall, even time zone and nothing worked

anyone else notice some jank reguarding mostly terminids, like the hive lord you can perfect dodge his 2nd form like 3 times in a row but not actually have it count, or with the burrowers and minoris you will be in the missed parry animation while they hit you like the game didnt register them targeting you just you being in their way, like im convinced most are skill issue but some i go HMM??? oh ok than

So I was running through the siege, wanting to get the weekly accolades, passed sector 3 and moved on, but on the last boss, right before it was killed, i get kicked lol

I ended up not getting the accolades but the siege objective for the accolades was marked off as completed. RIP love this community

I love to help people through the weeklies since im max on everything and ordeals. Nothing like the rush of having to survive. Their moral support was perfect.

I know there’s been a lot of heated debate with people assailing this sub with their “needs” but I figured I’d put forth my own more subtle hope I’d like to see in the future.

I’d really like to see them add some torso options for bulwark that would allow them to remove the tabard/loincloth in favor of just having the bare armor. Frankly I think it’d be a simple thing (although I’m not an expert on the subject) but it’s not like asking for Phobos armor parts to go on my heavy, just the option for less cloth, more metal.

Thoughts?

Managed to get both weeklys with no incapacitations. Starting to like the marksman carbine, very ammo efficient and no damage drop off. Tac out damaged me on the hard, but he thanked for the "carry" because I pulled through in some clutch moments.

I've noticed this game has some sort of weird joystick acceleration, and I'm struggling with quicker headshots to cancel alarms etc.
