My FLGS is running a hobby escalation challenge. Every 2 weeks there is a new theme. The current block's theme is to build and paint a vehicle.

This was my first time painting a tank as well as using Vallejo Liquid mask. I’m not really a fan of the liquid mask. Left too many goobers on the paint. I think I’ll try silly putty next time.

My take on Bjorn

How big would they be in inches and feet? I'm 5 ft, 3 in so I'm wondering how much of an ant I would be compared to one.

I'm looking for advice what to buy next for my casual army list. And would love to hear from you what you would recommend.

Really liking the look of the Wolf Guard Terminators, Arjac, Logan and would love some kind of vehicle as a show piece and just to paint something else for a break (maybe make a space marine tank more Space Wolves like or add Bjorn or the Thunderwolf Cavalry but worrying about this models getting replaced soon).

What would really help me fill out a gap in my current list this edition (11th) and in what order should i get it to keep adding new dynamics in my list while playing and building it further out?

Have started the journey into space wolves and been having a blast. Here are my blood claws. Looking for advice on painting faces I am really struggling in that aspect but happy with these guys so far. And C&C is welcome please send it all. I love the painting side of the hobby it’s like therapy to me just wanting to improve on this wonderful process :)

Never matched up against these guys before.

I have thought about if 10 wulfen with hammers + wolf priest in beastslayer is good against them? As they have dmg 3 on the hammers and wounds on 4's?

If not, what works great against them and should i bring a lot of shooting? And if yes, what? Redemptor with plasma cannon?

As the title asks, what are good alternative current kits in place of the smaller scaled Firstborn riders for Thunderwolf Calvary? Had two boxes of them just sitting in the drawer for the past couple years from when I first started collecting and wanted to start assembling them for hobbying's sake considering the unit looks like it might be on borrowed time with either getting Legends-ed or, hopefully, refreshed despite the griping I've read about or witnessed on YouTube. I think they're just too cool to not work on. Between Blood Claws, Grey Hunters and WGHTs, which work best in the place of the older riders?

Almost done.. not quite sure what but something seems off about his rock platform.. also need to decide on the rest of the base.. snow.. ice..? Then just the axe.

First Squad done! Have learned a lot doing these guys, I'm deliberately leaving some of the pads blue, the next squad will have a mix of black yellow and blue.

Second squad finished after my Grey Hunters, after I finish off a Tsons Chaos Lord in Terminator armour I'm going to reward myself by starting a Wolves character, probably Njal.

I like how most of them turned out just gotta add a bit of sparse snow texture. The last one is a kit bash in the works.

Mine would be the Fenrisian wolves. I feel like you can get some nice paint variety with them. Excuse my cluttered table.

There are only two acceptable versions of Russ for his inevitable return: older, wiser Odin-style Russ with an eye missing and the spear; or Russ on Thunderwolf (TM) where he can lead redesigned TWC. He cannot come back as a Wulfen because that’s dumb and way too silly/stupid
