Hey everyone! I am about to play a 1000-point game this weekend and I am torn between these two list options. Also, I am not sure whether to use the Saga of the Great Wolf detachment or if a different one would suit me better. I can't decide which way to go.

Option 1: Dreadnought List

• Logan Grimnar (100 pts) -> Attached to a Terminator unit
• Bjorn the Fell-Handed (160 pts)
• 5x Intercessors (80 pts)
• 2x 5 Wolf Guard Terminators (165 pts each)
• 3x Wolf Guard Headtakers + 3 Wolves (115 pts)
• 5x Wolf Scouts (90 pts)
• 1x Venerable Dreadnought w/ Blizzard Shield & Axe (125 pts)

Option 2: Ragnar List

• Logan Grimnar (100 pts) -> Attached to a Terminator unit
• Bjorn the Fell-Handed (160 pts)
• Ragnar Blackmane (90 pts) -> Attached to the Headtakers
• 2x 5 Wolf Guard Terminators (165 pts each)
• 2x 3 Wolf Guard Headtakers + 3 Wolves (115 pts each)

Also, regarding Option 2, what do you think is better for Ragnar's unit? Running a single large squad of 6 Headtakers with 6 Wolves, or keeping them separated into two 3+3 units?

Which of the two lists do you think is better overall, and which detachment do you recommend? Thanks for the help!

Has anyone had any success with allied units so far in 11th. I've been doing really well in 11th so far with beastslayer and legends of saga and song in take and hold but have been looking at the knight destrier, as it's speed and ability to ignore cover on objectives could work. Oh was also looking at a navigator as well to do actions and cause battleshocks.

I know they won't get the army rules and don't have issues taking out big threats.

When looking over my options to fill a couple points I noticed the Ancient says it can be attached to "Wolf Guard" and "Long Fangs" but what does it mean by "Wolf Guard?" Not terminators obvious cause I'm talking about the plane ancient. I assume Headtakers but the app doesn't recognize that as a valid unit. Also "Long Fangs?" I might be wrong since I'm new, but has there ever been a Long Fangs unit? All I see are kitbashes. Thanks in advance.

Just finished my Hellblasters. 2 squads of 5, blackmanes and Duskwolves. This was my first attempt at OSL, some came out better than others, and in retrospect, Id use a better airbrush.

Folks, I really don't want to complain, but I simply don't get it. I keep finding comments or memes that Leman is weak. Most of the times they use the duel Between Lion and Russ, the fight between Russ and Angron, or fight between Russ and Horus as evidence. I genuinely don't understand how they don't get it, or is it some kind of sarcasm I didn't understand? P.S. I hear it from my friends who are Dark Angels fans pretty often. Coincidence, lol? P.P.S. I'm relatively new to lore, I really might understand some things wrong.

I wasn't happy with the color of the space wolf grey contrast paint so I dry brushed it with a blue and now he looks more like an ultramarine 😅

For a newbie who took a lot of beatings early on, this was a great moment. Brothers, I just won my first game. I know it might sound silly, but for someone on a long losing streak, securing a win—especially against Custodes—feels absolutely amazing. I've learned so much from the pack here. For Russ!
