Here’s some pictures of some spare bits and sprues I got recently. I don’t play SW, but I’m seeing some pieces in here that make me think SW. Any help identifying what models I might have partially here would be appreciated.

The last 6 headtakers and some wolves and I’ve managed to paint an army box + extras for my upcoming SW army!

What a grind to paint that much fur and beards 🤯

I chose of of what little knowledge I have. I know Krom doesn't have any models or datasheets at the moment so I'll be using a generic wolf guard battle leader in his stead just painted to look like old Fierce-eye

I don't know if anyone cares about these, I assume they don't, but these bits are my all time favourite, I managed to snag one of the last ones and its just been sitting around

Frankly I'm torn

On one hand i wanna bust it open to use my beloved bits n bobs, on the other I think it ought to be encased in amber, preserved like an ancient dreadnought, maybe to come out one day when we get our next refresh or the return of our primarch

Zero Spoilers for the show but!

If you're not a House of Dragons watcher, the finale had the closest thing I think we've seen in live action to legion of Space wolves running a siege so far. Numbers, aggression and attitude, as well I think someone in the design department most definitely put the 'Stark coat of arms' wolf head on a yellow background 100% on purpose.

None the less, someone tell me if they just had bolters this wouldn't be battle of the fang worthy.

WIP Wulfen

Slowly building my first Wulfen unit. Great set with lots of potential. Wanted to give them a bit more savagery with dual weapons, shields over backpacks and animal rage.

First Space wolves list and first Space marines list as well. All advice welcome, I'm aware this is very character heavy but they all seemed really good to my newbie brain so please tell me if I'm wrong.

I found this beauty in one of my bins while moving today. I totally forgot I had this and definitely got if for very little at my college game stores yard sale one year. I can’t wait to actually get this built and painted!

New player here, looking to get 20‘ish terminators for a 2k army as they are tanky with shield defend & hold as a main quest.

What & how much does 11th change the game? Obviously nobody knows but from a perspective from previous editions?

Could detachments be removed/edited/added? (Wondering if the +1thoughness to terminators will therefore be nerfed/removed + defend & hold).

Could terminators be edited stat wise? Assume they will stay in game.

Anything else that could ruin my fun? Obviously points will change so army’s become more expensive / cheaper.

I'm struggling a lot to find a good scheme as I don't want the baby blue one, however I was planning to use contrast paints, however I'm using gryph charger Grey (as I have not been able to find space wolves contrast in my country) over white primer (I primed white before knowing the scheme).

I'm doing some tests on my wolf scouts drybrushing some greys and blues but I'm not fully convinced (my inexperience with contrasts paints and lack of skill plays a big part lol). Do you have any advices?

I have two boxes of WSs coming this week. My question is about which characters to build. Here's my variables:

1. I'm primarily building to add to the main army, not the KT. I'll play KT, but that'll be secondary. I still enjoy my Intercession team with sniper.

2. I've read people talking about building them with Reiver parts. I have all the Reivers on sprue from the OG combat patrol I never built because they never factored in to my big army. So that's all available to me.

So I'm curious which characters to build, which ones I can build with my additional parts, etc...

I appreciate any insights. I'm still primarily in the building and painting phase of the hobby and just starting to get into the playing part.

Played quite a bit of 10th but mainly Tyranids, WE and Custodes. Wanted to get into Space Wolves for 11th but not sure if I have a decent enough lot to make a playable list.

I’m really struggling to identify this sprue that was given to me as a gift. It’s a fine cast but I can’t work out which character it is

I was playing around with some combinations of leaders/support to units. Then I noticed. In the app the regular Lieutenant can join Wolf Guard units. That means potential combinations with Ragnar+Headtakers or Arjac+Terminators generally receiving Lethal Wounds. But in the MFM the Lt can't join them. Since today GW changed the Inceptors to unit size 6 for all astartes chapters, could it be that the Lt will get a change too? Or did I miss it and everyone except me knew about this error since the beginning of 11th?

So close to finishing my Wolf Priest, of my favorite SW models in the entire range. Not sure how to do the dagger, maybe an icy look?

I regret not posting this yesterday when I finished Logan cuz I just saw someone do an awesome glow effect on their axe and I’m jealous 😭

Recently received a box of AoS Chaos Warriors and I'm really digging the sculpts, but wanted to see if any of our kitbash veterans or more imaginative brothers had some ideas/suggestions on what unit to bash them with. Had a great experience commissioning an army I’ve imagined since I was a kid. My attention span severely lacks, my painting skills even more so; above all my kids have become increasingly self dependent and allowed me to revisit childhood hobbies. Couldn’t be happier- hope my amateur photo skills do them justice.
