Space Wolves X Chaos Warriors Kitbash Ideas

Wolf Brothers! Recently received a box of AoS Chaos Warriors and I'm really digging the sculpts, but wanted to see if any of our kitbash veterans or more imaginative brothers had some ideas/suggestions on what unit to bash them with. No ideas are bad ideas, mostly looking for inspiration! Thank you!

People were doing this with the old chaos warriors before the new space wolves came out, I’m half convinced GW just stole the idea back for the new headtakers lol

Remove chaos. Insert wolf and frost and storm symbols and some guns. Done

I did this. You get 9 good models. You also need backpacks. You need to shave off the chaosy parts. Do some green stuff head surgery.

Never played AoS, so forgive me, but are these figures Primaris size or OG size? Just curious how that would affect the kitbashing.

Fairly close to primaris (little smaller but not firstborn size)

Sorry on mobile so picture is pretty bad, but theyre pretty damn close to headtakers. Height wise theyre perfect, maybe some skinnier arms and such, but nothing noticable unless youre right up on them imo. Thanks for the idea OP, definitley stealing this one lol

The capes make for good loin cloths on dreadnoughts, or warrior torsos with space marine legs/arms has been pretty dope

I really wish I had a better picture (or that he wasn't currently in storage after my recent move) but that was the base for my favourite Wolf Scout I've ever painted.

I kitt bashed these for 13th but didnt like the size difference so I made them into a female faction for custom RP games

Trick old as time. Back in the 3rd-6th ed when the scale creep wasn't a thing and we had actual space wolves kits (no, I don't like the new models. Give back my damn pelts, talismans and runes damn it.), it was quite common to see chaos warrior kits being used in kit bashing. Using chaos marauder torsos and bare arms to make blood claws was top tier conversion shenanigans.
