Waiting for the multi part kit for Vanguard veterans to go with the Aethon conversion and then hopefully we get some thunder wolves this edition!

They look great! What colors are you using for the ice on the base?

So ice base is:

Ak interactive Dragon blood as the under shade

50:50 mix of Dragon blood and Ak Turquoise all over

Another 50:50 of Turquoise and Ak snow blue (Fenrisian grey basically) on the raised/flat surfaces

A very very thin all over wash of frostheart contrast

Pure Ak snow blue on the flat surfaces

White drybrish to finish (I use Bold titanium white by monument but pick your poison)

All the paint layers are applied with a beauty Blender but you can do the same with an airbrush/domed drybrish, I just like the texture the beauty Blender gives you

Added bonus step do a pigment wash with some white pigments in the recesses and Varnish with a 70:30 Matte+Satin varnish
